"Happy Birthday, Laogong~" Wei Wuxian drawled sleepily on Lan Wangji's chest as soon as he woke up. Lan Wangji was surprised to see him awake so early but smiled nonetheless.

"Thank you, Xingan. Sleep some more?" Lan Wangji said gently, massaging Wei Wuxian's scalp.

"Mn... Wake me up in an hour. We have the ceremony today," Wei Wuxian mumbled, already falling back to sleep.

"Mn," Lan Wangji carefully shifted Wei Wuxian in his arms to hold him properly.

The rich scent of lotus, cinnamon and mist hit him suddenly. Lan Wangji's eyes darkened as he realised the talisman Wei Wuxian has taken to wearing everyday now was wearing off after a good 24 hours.

"Mhmm..." Lan Wangji couldn't help but suck bruises on Wei Wuxian's long neck. The mating bite was a proof that Wei Ying belonged to him and him only and Lan Wangji kissed it lovingly. It's been a month.

The baby should be a month and a half old by now. Everytime Lan Wangji thinks about a small child resembling Wei Ying, running in the Jingshi, his heart soars joyfully. Everything he missed in his own childhood, he will make sure his child has it all.....

"Lan Zhan! How do I look? Am I pretty?" Wei Wuxian twirled happily, his hanfu spreading beautifully.

Lan Wangji was watching awestruck, just how beautiful Wei Wuxian looked.

The hanfu was red and golden in colour for both of them. Considering, Wei Wuxian is with child, Qingheng-Jun had given special orders to use the lightest material for his hanfu yet the most expensive silk. Lan Wangji's hanfu was high collared, heavy on his shoulders. Wei Wuxian's hanfu had a long trail and hugged his lithe body wonderfully. Wei Wuxian being taller than most Omega wouldn't show the baby bump much as Wen Qing had analysed.

And with that bright, bright smile and silver eyes, Lan Wangji wanted to hide him away from everyone!

"Beautiful. Wei Ying is the most beautiful person I have seen," Lan Wangji said, grabbing Wei Wuxian by his waist. Wei Wuxian blushed before Lan Wangji was joining their lips together in a gentle but deep kiss. Wei Wuxian moaned happily as Lan Wangji showered him with kisses and bites.

"Lan-er-gege! How scandalous! My robes will be crumpled! Let's go quickly," Wei Wuxian laughed.

Lan Wangji nodded and took Wei Wuxian's hand as they entered the carriage. Xiao Xingchen and Song Zichen were leading the carriage and a number of soldiers surrounded it. Inside, Wei Wuxian was nervous as hell, just like his wedding day. Even Lan Wangji was gripping his sleeves a little tighter.

The Main hall was decorated in auspicious colour. The crown of the new Crown Prince and Princess was shining on the tray by the Emperor. Everyone was here for the ceremony. And then, the couple entered.

"Announcing, Er Huang Zi, Hanguang-Jun, Lan Wangji and Er-Fuma, Yueguang-Jun, Wei Wuxian."

The familiar voice of the eunuch drew everyone's attention as two figures stepped into the hall. No matter how many times people looked at them, it was impossible to not look at the couple just once more..... And this was an important occasion. Seeing the Second Prince and his Omega dressed to nines was a rare occasion for everyone as both of them were rarely seen in Court.

The hall was rendered silent as Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian reached the middle and kneeled down on the cushion placed there. Subtly, without anyone's knowledge, their hands were joined together. 

Qingheng-Jun descended his throne, two servants following him with the Crowns on two tray each. The minister read out the responsibilities, duties etc. everything that came with being the Crown Prince and Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian cut their hands vowing with their blood, to remain faithful and loyal to the Emperor and the kingdom.
