The women gasped at the information. Chen Lili looked away irritated.

Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian hunted together in a leisurely pace but making sure to keep the Lans in lead. 

"Lan Zhan, Lan Zhan! After the hunt, I want to eat hawthorn! I really crave it!" Wei Wuxian said, leaning on his shoulder, hands wrapped around Lan Wangji's arm as they walked through the forest.

"Alright," Lan Wangji agreed.

Wei Wuxian smiled.

The hunt so far was going well. Far too well, for Wei Wuxian's liking. Call it instincts or anything, but he had a feeling something will go wrong. He bit his lips as he looked at Lan Wangji, sword unsheathed and eyes vigilant. They made such a good pair, huh.
