"Huangshang! How could you allow this to happen?" Wen Ruohan said, glancing at Lan Wangji who was, for once, not looking cold. He was very calm and silent, waiting for his turn to speak.

Half of the court was in turmoil about the incident with the Sus. The Xues were neutral regarding the matter that didn't concern their kingdom politically. But the Chens and the minor kingdoms were not quiet.

They had expressed concerns about Lan Wangji anihilating an entire kindom over an attempted attack on a single Omega.

"Wen-Zongzhu, what exactly is the problem?" Qingheng-Jun asked, pretending he didn't know what Wen Ruohan has been upto behind his back.

"Huangshang, it's not just me. Everyone is worried about the step Hangu-... I mean Taizi Dianxia took regarding the Sus. It's outrageous!" He exclaimed as a few others nodded.

Lan Xichen glanced at his brother, worried. This was exactly the reason he had tried to peacefully mitigate the situation. But Wangji.....

"Exactly. He could have simply administered punishment to Su Ruoli, the actual culprit. But..." Jin Guangshan shook his head in pity.

"Alright. Whatever was to happen has happened. I am personally going to the conference organised by Chen Junwang next month. I am sure the Taizi Dianxia didn't just destroy the Sus because of the matter with his mate alone," Qingheng-Jun said mysteriously, making Wen Ruohan a little anxious.

"Huangshang, I also have a simple solution to the problem. It appears ah.... Taizi Dianxia is enamored too much with Taizi Fei. Maybe, introducing one or two concubines by his side would pacify the other Kingdoms?" Jin Guangshan asked slyly. If he can marry off his daughter to Lan Wangji as well, he wouldn't have to be worried over who shall inherit the throne among the two prince. 

"No. I deny Jin-Zongzhu's kind thoughts," Lan Wangji said, finally, standing up.

Jin Guangshan sweated and tried to keep his strained smile.

"I don't see how Jin-Zongzhu's ideas are wrong, Taizi Dianxia. Or is it that you are too arrogant after your 'arranged tryst' with a Male Omega," Wen Xu commented, beside his father.

Jiang Cheng was ready to throw hands but Jin Zixuan tugged him down. The three; Jiang Cheng, Jin Zixuan and Wen Xu, recently joined the Imperial court, alongside their fathers. It would be best if they kept quiet but Wen Xu had to court death.

Lan Wangji's glare turned over to Wen Xu.

Wen Xu was unafraid, as he believed the Emperor, his Uncle wouldn't really punish him.

"Arranged tryst? Is anyone talking about me?" Wei Wuxian stepped inside the court, dressed in Lan blue, completed with a forehead ribbon and his crown. The only mismatch was the black flute twirling around his fingers and his visible bump. Jiang Cheng stared at his brother's bump in awe and shock as Wei Wuxian grinned.

Gasps and murmur were heard as Wei Wuxian greeted the Emperor before staring around.

"Yes...where was I? Right, Wen-Gongzi, what were you saying again?" He asked, bringing the twirling Chen Qing to a stop.

Chen Qing was no less than a nightmare for the people who had seen Wei Wuxian play with it.

Wen Xu gulped at the scent coming off the Omega and flushed red.

Lan Wangji's eyes hardened. Atleast Xiao Xingchen had escorted his unruly mate here.

"I...I .... Greetings to Taizi Fei," he said, gritting his teeth. Wei Wuxian was knowingly tempting him, because God forbids, if he even touched Wei Wuxian inappropriately, he was as good as dead!
