The days passed by very quickly. 

Since, Jin Guangshan was busy arranging his own grandson's one month anniversary, Jiang Fengmian happily took over the duty to arrange the Little Prince's one month anniversary which was a week after Jin Ling, courtesy name Jin Rulan.

Jiang Cheng had mercilessly roasted Wei Wuxian in his letter for being a sappy romantic and naming their nephew after a Lan. Wei Wuxian showed absolutely no remorse in his reply letter and anyways Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan were pleased with the name.

Courtesy names were announced at the one month anniversary.

Wei Wuxian was sad he couldn't attend but also knew that he cannot leave his baby behind neither can he take him with them to Lanling.

"Lan Zhan! Did Baobao wake up again!?" Wei Wuxian mumbled, sleepily hearing the child cry where he was sleeping in a small cot.

Lan Wangji woke up, similarly exhausted but crossed the room in long strides and picked up A-Yuan, bringing him back to their bed.

Wei Wuxian was asleep by the time he returned and even A-Yuan's pitiful whimpers didn't wake him up. But A-Yuan was definitely hungry and should be fed.

Lan Wangji's ears turned a bit red when he loosened Wei Wuxian's robes, the man asleep and unaware.

A-Yuan was inching closer to his mother on instinct. Lan Wangji helped his son to latch on to Wei Wuxian and finally the child was calm. Wei Wuxian hugged the baby closer on instinct and Lan Wangji finally, finally fell asleep, A-Yuan between them.

It was Lan Yuan's one month anniversary today. Wei Wuxian was dressing up his baby with a single robe and his favourite blanket.

A-Yuan was silently staring at things most of the time, a curious child but when he'd cry....the whole Jingshi could hear him. 

Wei Wuxian finally gave A-Yuan to a Beta maid to hold as he began dressing himself up as well.

Lan Wangji returned in time to see Wei Wuxian in their bath and without a word joined him, hugging him from behind, careful of his surgery scar.

"Mn. I will be there. Will protect you and A-Yuan," Lan Wangji said, kissing his mating mark and then biting down on it. Wei Wuxian moaned in surprise but gradually relaxed when he realised he was just being claimed and scented properly.

Bath done, Lan Wangji first helped his husband into his robes before they finally got ready.

Wei Wuxian didn't look like he had undergone any surgery at all thanks to the healing power of his golden core. His lithe figure was accentuated by the robes he was wearing and the crown on his head looked extra beautiful today. Not to mention, the after-glow on his delicate face after pregnancy.... Lan Wangji was very unhappy that so many people would be seeing Wei Wuxian like this again.

The two stepped into their carriage, A-Yuan in Lan Wangji's arms, constantly kicking his feet and hands up as Wei Wuxian played with him.

They reached the main hall in record time and this time, Wei Wuxian interlinked arms with Lan Wangji, giggling a bit.
