Rumour has it

Good morning the next day. Last night was a great success, the dinner went on smoothly, and Lewis had an amazing time. We didn't do a great job at keeping our little secret a secret. The discrete handholding wasn't as discreet as we thought, so much so that his parents came to us at the end of the night saying how happy they were that we were together.

Was it awkward? Surprisingly, no. He just put his arm around me and kissed my cheek. What does that mean, you ask? I don't know. At this moment, all I wanna do is enjoy this moment in bed with him.

I looked at him, he was already looking at me, so I said, "Good morning..."

"Will you be my girlfriend?" he interrupted me and asked.

"Wait what?" I asked with a smile.

"You heard me," he smiled, "will you be my girlfriend?"

"Are asking because of what your parents said last night?" I asked.

"No," he started to explain, "I'm asking because I like you a lot. Because I've been wanting to ask for a while. I've been waiting for the right moment, but you beat me to it. So I ask you one more time, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes," I said, with the biggest grin, "I would love to."

Needless to say, we had a very spicy morning after that. Then we spent the rest of the day lounging at home. Samantha came by and was the first to know.

"Finally, Lewis!" she yelled and hugged us both.

"What does that mean?" he asked, laughing.

"It means you took too long," she said, "I mean she's gorgeous, someone could have taken her right from you."

"Highly unlikely," I admitted, "but thank you, Sam."

"It's a pleasure, sweetheart," she said, "so, will you two make it public official?"

"I don't think so," I said, "I'm not ready to be hunted for being Lewis' girlfriend."

"Yeah," he agreed, "I can see the headlines now 'Lewis Hamilton lands UK supermodel Y/n, how did he do it?'"

"Very funny," I said.

*phone rings*

"Excuse me, guys," I said, "Zan's wedding duties call."

I went over to the next room and picked up the phone, "Hello, sis."

"You sound cheery," she said.

"He asked me to be his girlfriend," I said, and she left out a yell.

"That's incredible," she yelled, "congratulations!"

"Thank you, Zan."

"But I have to say," she stated, "the media beat you to the news."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I was calling you to let you know that last night the paparazzi got pictures of you guys getting in the car together," she explained, "now they're everywhere."

"Thanks for telling me, Zan," I said, "let me go look and I'll call you later."

I hang up and google my name, no surprise, 'Spotted: Lewis Hamilton leaving Nobu with Y/n Y/l/n' and others, 'Rumour has it, Lewis Hamilton found himself a new girlfriend'.

I walk back to the kitchen and handed Lewis the phone, "so much for keeping it on the down-low."

"Damn," he expressed, "they work fast."

"I know right?" I replied, "but oh well, life moves on."

"We'll be fine tho," he said, planting a kiss on my hand.

"Yeah," I agreed, "I have to go anyways, I have a short shoot with Daniel Wellington in 2 hours and a fitting."

So I said goodbye to both of them and made my way outside, where Susan and my driver, Jay, were waiting for me. I decided to get a driver for the days we had many places to be. Best decision I have ever made.

We arrived at the first location, where we rushed inside and got started on hair and make up after greeting everyone on set. The shoot went on smoothly, I had a very friendly crew, a great photographer, and just had a good time.

By the time we were done with the shoot, we were already late for the fitting. So, we rushed down to the car, and a group of people and paparazzi were by the entrance.

"What is happening?" I asked Susan.

"I don't know," she responded, "there must be someone famous in the restaurant next door."

"Alright, let's go," I said.

The moment we stepped outside, the people rushed to us and started to yell my name. As we were rushing through the crowd of people, my anxiety kicked in. But thankfully, we got to the car in one piece.

"That has never happened before," I told them.

"Maybe it's the buzz for the Elle cover," she asked.

"Whatever it," Jay said, "We'll probably need to get security."

"This team is getting bigger and bigger by the day," I said.

"That's what will happen as you get bigger and bigger," Susan responded.

We headed to the fitting, and it was quick and easy. When we were done, there was no one waiting for us, so we had a smooth ride home.

When we arrived at my apartment, Susan and I went through emails of the modelling agency to set up what I had to do for the week. Surprisingly, we had a lot more things to do. I guess that cover is working wonders.

*phone vibrates*

Hey, babe.
I'm on my way to yours.

See you soon.

After going through all the work, Susan went home, and Lewis was there soon after.

"So something weird happened today," I told him.

"What happened?" he asked.

"I got my first paparazzi ambush," I said, "it was very weird."

"You never had one?" he asked, "how?"

"No," I said, "I'm low-key, remember?"

"You need to teach me how to be like that," he said.

"You're Lewis Hamilton," I said, "I don't think anything will help."

He laughed and said, "Well, you never know."

"I also wanted to tell you," I said, "Dior is flying me out to Monaco for a campaign."

"That's awesome," he responded.

"Thank you, and I know that's your second home," I said, "so, would you and Roscoe like to come with me? Maybe show me around Monaco."

With a smile, he said, "yes, but under one condition."

"What is it?" I asked.

"You'll be staying at my apartment."

"I wouldn't have it any other way."
