Well, we have just had one of the most eventful Sunday's in F1 History. Today, on the 12th of December 2021, the battle was on to determine the year's championship driver. It was a battle till the last minute.
As a fan of the sport, I couldn't wait or contain my excitement for the event of the year. As a Lewis fan, I'm a bit upset at how the rules were followed and how things were decided at the last moments. If you don't watch the races, I highly recommend watching the race or at least the recap.
One of the reasons I have painted Lewis and Max as friends in the story is that I have great respect for both of them the same way I know, and I am confident they have for each other. They are truly setting the bar high as to what is considered phenomenal in this sport—so painting these two men that bring so much joy to the sport as enemies doesn't feel right to me.
Despite the setback, I still have a lot of faith in Lewis and believe he is one of the most significant drivers this sport has ever seen. This is my opinion; everyone is entitled to their own. My congratulations go out to Max Verstappen, the Champion Driver of 2021.
And to Lewis, I say; Still, we rise.
