Good morning, New Year's Eve. So, Lewis and I have been speaking every day since Christmas Eve. We have again decided to take things slow and haven't done anything except for phone calls and texts. But if I'm keeping it really real, talking to him has been the most fun.
He somehow got sweeter, funnier and so much more considerate. I don't know how he could get more perfect. We spoke more about his family, he told me how he looks up to his father and everything he did for him. His brother Nicolas and sisters. Which I was gonna meet, tonight.
I started getting ready, I hired a makeup artist to come to do my and my sisters make-up, as well as a hairstylist. We needed to look our best, not every day we get invited to a celebrity's new year eve party.
"This is incredible," Zan admitted, "I feel like I'm going to a red carpet event."
"Me too," I responded, "tonight will be awesome."
"You've been positive, and excited lately," she said, "I like it."
"Thank you," I said.
I then started getting dressed and decided to wear a white silk dress that fit me like a glove, the heels were sparkly and the accessories to match.
"Uhh, are we getting luck today Little one?" Zan said.
"Shut up, you look just as good, Oliver will die," I said, "where is he by the way?"
"Downstairs, let's go."
With that, we were out. Oliver spends the whole way gushing over his fiancée, as he should. We drove to Lewis' villa in West London.
The moment we drove into the gates and up the driveway, the mansion was gorgeous and pouring with life. It felt like a scene was the great Gatsby when we get the first glimpse of his lavish parties. We got to the entrance and the valet opened the car door for us and then parked the car.
We walked to the entrance, were immediately let in and escorted to the garden where the party was being held. The large garden had a huge white tent with people inside and outside it. When we got inside it was well decorated in all white, with beautiful white flowers and gold details.
The tables were filled with socialites, models, artists, actors, and musicians, all dressed in white, sipping champagne and indulging in gourmet food.
"This is so cool," Zan shouted over the loud music.
"Definitely," I said, "let's find mom and Carmen."
We scanned the tent and found our mom sitting with Carmen sitting with their friend group. We went over and greeted them all.
"You girls look fabulous," my mom said.
"Thank you mom, you too," Zan told her.
"You too, Carmen," I said.
"Thank you, sweetheart," she said, "have you met my daughters, this is Nicola and Samantha."
"Nice to meet you both," I said and hugged them both.
"You too," Nicola said, "we've heard a lot about you,"
"Yes, and you are gorgeous," Samantha commented.
"Thank you so much," I told her with a smile.
We continued to talk and I got to know them both. They are both very kind and both had beautiful amazing kids that I also got to meet. Then they excused themselves to go dance. I look out into the tent again and see Lew.
He was truly the life of the party, surrounded by people listening to his stories. He carried himself with so much confidence it is so attractive. His smile lights up the room and he has a unique twinkle in his eyes that makes me smile every time. After a few moments of staring, he catches me looking and gives me a wink. That alone made butterflies flutter in my stomach.
I turned my attention back to my sister and we both decided to go dance. After a glass of champagne, we made our way there and started to kill it. The music was hyped and everyone's energy was up. All of a sudden the mode got slower, Oliver came dancing with Zan and I started to walk back to my chair. All of a sudden I feel a light pull of my hand, I turn around and it's Lewis holding my hand.
"It's my turn to dance with you," he says and pulled me into his embrace.
"Alright then, your wish is my command," I said and put both my arms around his neck while he placed his around my waist.
"Ohh really?" He asked, "Is that an always thing or just something for the moment."
"Well," I started to say, "that's for me to know and for you to find out."
He smirked and said, "I like the way you think."
The moments we were together felt great, it felt like it was just us. Feeling his body against mine, woke up some feelings I haven't felt in a while.
"So how are you enjoying yourself?" He asked.
"This is gorgeous," I answered, "you did an amazing job, could you plan my sister's wedding?"
He giggled and says, "well, this was mostly the planner but sure, and I'm glad you like it."
"And I have to say, you look really good," I admitted.
"Why thank you, Y/n," he said, "I have to say you look beautiful as well."
We continued to dance and as things started to get a bit more hyped, someone came by and asked to dance with Lewis.
"Find me at midnight," he whispered and I nodded.
I went back to my table but then started to have conversations with some other guests. I met Naomi Campbell which spoke very highly of Lewis, and I was just at ahh of her presence. Then I finally saw Lando.
"LANDOOO," I yelled and run to hug him.
"How are you?" He asks excitedly.
We talk for a while, and I update him on everything going on. He is impressed and happy for me. I introduced him to my mom and my sister that immediately wanted to adopt him.
After socializing with a few more people we were getting closer and closer to midnight. All of a sudden everyone's attention is redirected by the sound of Lewis' voice on the mic.
Things just get better from here, trust me.
