Good evening, London. Coming home never felt so sad. But at least I had an incredible view on the jet.

My building was surrounded by some paparazzi scattered around the area. So getting into my apartment was more of a mission than usual. But I managed to get in and finally rest.

The Next Day - Tuesday

After every trip, I always go to my mom's house to tell her how it was. But now, I couldn't even do that, thanks to the biggest asshole to ever walk into my life. So I went straight to Zan's house to ensure everyone was good. Zan lives in Barnes; the area was relatively calm, so I knew I wouldn't find many people looking to take pictures.

"Hey!" I yelled as I entered her house, "I'm here."

She came to the door to greet me and asked, "when did I give you my house keys?"

"Oliver gave them to me when you moved in," I explained.

"Babe, did you give her our keys?" She asked as we walked to the living room, where Oliver and my mom watched TV.

"Yes, she's your sister," he said, "she should be able to come and go as she pleases."

"This is why you are the best brother-in-law of all time," I said and greeted them both.

"How was the trip to Paris and Barcelone?" my mom asked.

"It was great," I said, "I couldn't enjoy it as much because of what Brad did to you, though."

"I'm fine, sweetheart," she explained, "I just don't understand how you can handle this fame thing; I had it for one day, and I never want it again."

"Well, there are usually not this aggressive," I said.

"Yeah, but now they want to go all out," Zan said.

"How's Lewis?" Mom asked.

"He is good," I answered, "when we arrived, he went straight home."

"Is he suffering like you?" Zan asked.

"Just a few questions here and there," I said, "but at least Carmen's address wasn't revealed."

"I'm pretty sure that's just the case cause Brad has no idea where she lives," Oliver said.

"You're probably right," I said.

I struggled to decide whether I should tell them about my call with Brad. I knew that their opinion would influence the decision I was already going to make. So I let it go.

"So, did anything interesting happen in Barcelona?" Zan asked.

"Not really," I said, "Lando was being a bit dramatic saying I don't support him enough."

"Shame," she replied, "I'm a McLaren support now."

"But I'm a Mercedes fan," Oliver said.

"I know, but for our little brother, I'll be McLaren," she said, "there will be wars on Sunday here!" We all laughed.

I spent the rest of the afternoon with them; we had lunch and discussed possibly getting my mom a new house. This discussion was challenging because that was our childhood home, so letting it go would be very hard. The changes that were happening weren't particularly positive, I could tell no one was happy about it, and it was because of me.

"Guys, I have to go soon," I said as I noticed the time; it was close to 9 pm.

"Why?" Zan asked, "do you have work tomorrow?"

"No, I'm going to spend the day with Lewis," I said.

"That's cute," she said, "your honeymoon phase is the cutest."

"I hope you have fun," mom told me.

"Thank you, mom," I said, "I'll come by to visit soon."

"Yeah, we still have the final wedding details to go over," Zan mentioned.

"I know, I didn't forget," I reassured her, "Goodbye, everyone."

I return home with a heavy heart and my mind filled with thoughts. Brad's words kept replaying in my head. He would go for Zan next, and I could never live with myself if I let him ruin her business and reputation. I am going to hate myself for what I'm going to do.

The Next Day - Wednesday

I got up and got ready for the day ahead. Jay came to pick me up, and we made our way to Lewis. As we got closer to his home, my stomach filled with butterflies and not the good kind. The nerves surfaced, and I couldn't even engage in our everyday conversations with Jay.

He then pulled up to the entrance, and I said, "Jay, do you mind waiting here? I won't be taking that long."

"Of course," he said.

So I walked inside and greeted Angela. Then I went to the kitchen to find Lewis and Roscoe.

"Hello, boys," I greeted.

Lewis got up to kiss and said, "Hi, babe."

"How are you?" I asked.

"I'm good, just chilling with Roscoe," he said, "are you ready to go out?"

"Wait, I need to talk to you first," I said.

"Sure, let's go sit down," he responded, so we went to the living room, "what's up?"

"Lewis, I can't be with you anymore," my heart sank as those words left my mouth. I bit my bottom lip and tried my best not to let the tears filling up my eyes fall.

"Wait, what?" He asked, confused.

"I don't think we should be together anymore," I said.

"But why? Where is this coming from?" He asked, confused.

"Look, I don't think going over this will help any of us," I said, not being able to look at him.

"So, just leaving me like this helps with something?"

"No, but I just can't do this anymore; I'm sorry, Lewis," I said this and I felt a tear down my cheek.

"Can you just go? Please, I don't know what to say to you right now."

"Bye, Lew," I said.

I understood and didn't try to push it; I broke up with him. So he had all the right to kick me out. So I stood up and went to the door where I bumped into Angela.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing, Ange," I said, cleaning my tears, "please remember you promised not to say anything."

"But..."

"You promised Ange, please," I said; she nodded and hugged me goodbye.

"Take care of yourself, sweetheart," she whispered during the hug.

I turned around and left. Trying to reassure myself that I made the right choice. If I did, then why did it hurt so much?
