Mid-February

Good morning, another day of work. The week was going to be packed. So, update, the past few weeks have been composed of many fittings for shows and a shoot or two. I managed to be selected to walk in Victoria Beckham, Vivienne Westwood, and Burberry. Not bad for my 4th season; I always walked for Victoria Beckham because she was one of the first people to give me a chance in the industry, and working with her was an honour each time.

Lewis and I spent every free moment together. He practically lived at my apartment at a certain point, and I loved each moment I spent with him. I also got the chance to go to more of his sibling dinners with the addition of Zan and Oliver. Getting closer to him has indeed been the best experience I could ask for.

Kelly, Penelope and her nanny have been staying with me for some days now. They decided to come early to have some time to explore London with me and have some mommy and daughter time together. Max couldn't go because he was with his family in the Netherlands.

During those days, Kelly met my family and, no surprise, got along really well with Zan. There were a lot of girls nights out where we all had a lot of fun.

Let me break it down. London Fashion Week is between the 18th and the 22nd of February. During this time UK based designers have the opportunity to showcase their work. Some days there's more than one shows then shows, and then there are parties and events.

The first two shows I did were Vivienne Westwood and Burberry. They were both very professional and well-composed; a lot of work went into them, so I was happy that everything went well. I had the opportunity to have Kelly and Zan at the after-parties of the shows, so it made it ten times better.

Last Show

Today is the most meaningful show to me. Victoria was one of my first supporters, so being a part of the show is an experience I will never get over. Another reason why it's more notable is because Lewis, Kelly and Zan would all be in the front row.

I made my way to the location early to run through the show again, have a dress rehearsal and finally, makeup.

"Why do you always get it here so early?" I hear someone ask me, so I look in the direction of the voice, and it's Victoria herself.

"Because I know you and your professionalism, of course," I respond with a smile.

"That is why you are closing the show," she said and hugged me, "how are you?"

"I'm good, and how are you?" I asked, then looked down to hug Harper.

"Nervous," she answered and sipped her coffee, "there's still a lot to go through."

"I can imagine, but we all know you have this on lock," I explained, "the collection is gorgeous, and everything is running on time."

"I suppose you're right," she paused, "why are you so happy, though? This time last year, you were a wreck."

"I don't know," I confessed, "this fashion week has been terrific, so I guess..."

"It's cause her boyfriend is coming," a certain someone interrupted me.

"Ohh yes," Victoria smirked, "good point, babe."

"And I'm gonna be sitting next to him," David said.

"Uhhh," Harper expressed, causing all of us to break out in laughter.

"Please don't embarrass me," I said to David.

"I'll try my best," he said.

"Alright," Victoria said, "let's get this show ready."

From then on, things became hectic; more models started showing up, and more photographers took their exclusive photos of the collection. Since closing the show, I was one of the last girls on the chair. In the meantime, I was talking catching up with the models.

I got my makeup done, got into the outfit I was walking in and got lined up with the other models. At that moment, I began to feel a bit nervous. Closing a show is a big deal, and it was my first time doing so.

The show started, and one by one, each model walked out with grace and confidence, putting Victoria's work on full display. When it came to my turn, I did the same, I got myself in the zone and walked down the runway. On my right, I quickly spot that beautiful smile I can't resist with the glimmer in his eyes that made me happy.

When I was done, all the models walked out, and I walked out last with Victoria herself. Safe to say, this was a successful night. In the mists of the chaos I snuck away from the press photos and interviews to see Lewis and my friends.

"You did amazing, I'm really proud of you," he whispered to me while we hugged.

"Thank you, baby," I whispered back.

A few pictures were taken of us but at that point we really did not care despite wanting it to be private, tonight was mostly about celebrating the end of a successful fashion week.

"So, afterparty?" He looked at me and asked.

Before I could answer, David came behind us and answered, "Of course!"
