Good morning, yacht day in Monaco. I got up early and started getting ready. I am so excited about what's to come today.
Lewis walked in the bathroom as I sang to my music playing and did my hair.
"Someone's excited," he said and kissed my cheek.
"Of course," I said, "my boyfriend gets to see my work. I get to go on a yacht for the first time with him and friends."
"I'm glad you're excited," he said, "I'm gonna go shower, then we have breakfast together?"
"Alright," I said, "mind if I watch?"
He laughed and said, "only if you join."
"Coming!" I said and ran to join.
After a fantastic shower with him, we realised we'd be late and rushed to get ready, had a quick bite to eat and went down to the yacht club. Everyone was still docking the yacht when we arrived, and Kelly had just gotten there with Max.
"How's my favourite couple?" I asked.
"We're good," Kelly answered as they walked towards us, "how's my favourite couple?"
"We're good too," I said and gave them both a hug.
The guys greeted each other, and Max said, "I'm glad you found the way to keep her around."
Lewis laughed and said, "I had to mate."
We spoke a little, and then Susan came to tell us we had to get on the yacht, so we did. We started with the hair and makeup, then moved on to the stylists when we got on.
Kelly finished before me and started to take some pictures. When I was done, I went out to the back of the yacht where they were taking pictures, and I saw Kelly looking gorgeous; I couldn't help myself and took pictures of my own.
"Yes, Kelly, estás Linda!" (You're looking beautiful); I cheered her one in her first language, Portuguese. She taught me a few words, though I'd put them to good use.
"Obrigado, fofa!" (Thanks, cutie) she replied.
Once they were done with her section, I put on the same outfit as her, just in red and white, instead of blue and white. We had a matching moment and filmed for the commercial with two other outfits. Then I had a photoshoot by myself and another of us together.
"It's a wrap," the director yelled, and we all cheered and clapped. They then popped bottles of champagne to celebrate.
Before we knew it, this turned into a yacht party. We had a massive lunch as a team and then just had fun talking and celebrating.
Then, Lewis and Max got into two jet skis and started having a little bit of a race on the water.
"Really, guys?" I yelled, "does it always have to be a race?"
"Yes!" They responded simultaneously, and we all laughed.
He looked really hot, so I couldn't get mad at their competitiveness.
After witnessing so much fun, Kelly and I changed into our wetsuits and jumped in our jet skis to join the fun.
"Alright guys," Kelly said, "get ready to see the real pros at work."
Kelly and I processed to beat them at their own game! This was the first time I hadn't driven anything alone on the vehicle in year's, and I was not anxious at all. I had so much fun, and Lewis taught me some exciting moves. We got back on the yacht and received applauds from the crew.
"Thank you," Kelly and I said and took a bow.
"Who's next?" I asked, and some of the crew members had the chance to get in the fun.
During all the fun, the yacht was docked by the Yacht Club. I went to Lewis' car to get our extra clothes.
"Y/n!" I heard. I swear if it's Brad, I'm going to freak out.
I turn around, and it's him. Ohh, gosh, someone help me.
"Hi," I said.
"How are you?" he asked.
"Okay, and you?" I asked.
"I'm good," he said, "I saw you on the jet ski; you haven't driven anything since, you know, it was good seeing you like that."
"Thanks," I said and gave him a quick smile. Then I went back to taking out my small suit from the car.
"Look," he started to speak, "I know you might be busy now, but can we get some coffee sometime?"
I was shocked and quickly said, "Brad, I can't do that; I have a boyfriend, and I'm pretty busy with work."
"Yeah, I know, but it's just as friends," he said.
"I'll still have to turn you down, mate," I responded.
"Yeah, but..." he started to speak.
"Hey, is there a problem?" Lewis interrupted him and asked, coming from behind me.
"Lewis Hamilton?" Brad murmured from excitement and was lost for words.
"There's no problem," I replied, "this is Brad, and Brad, this is..."
"Lewis Hamilton!" he shouted, "I know, big fan, I'm just trying to ask her out."
"She did say no though, mate," Lewis said, "and as her boyfriend, I'm not that much of a fan of the idea."
Brad's excitement quickly turned into fear. Brad pulled his eyebrows together, and the tension spread to his upper eyelids. This happens when you interrupt me and don't let me introduce you to my boyfriend.
"Hmm," Brad expressed, "he's who your dating?"
"Yep," I said.
For a moment, it looked like he was about to explode in rage, but right before he could say anything, Max approached us.
"Hi, is there a problem?" Max asked us.
"No," I responded before things escalated, "we were just coming back, bye Brad."
I closed the car's trunk, gave the guys a little suitcase, and grabbed them both by their hands, dragging them to the yacht. I'm so glad that Brad kept his mouth shut and his anger issues on the low.
"Thanks for the rescue, guys," I told them.
"Lewis was about to kill him," Max said and let out a laugh.
"What?" Lewis asked, "I don't like people who don't respect people's spaces."
"I know, and I appreciate that," I said and hugged him, "my hero."
Every time my days starts going downhill, Lew always turns it around. I'm happy I have him.
