"James! Look out!" I extended my arms forward before one of the creatures could slam its limbs into him. A red force field shielded James completely right as it made contact. He glanced at me in surprise as I struggled to keep the shield up.

Aiden swung his arm forward and knocked the creature out of the way with underground vines. I released the force field, and James jogged over to me.

I glanced at my hands in amazement, surprised that Su's advice actually worked. I was able to control it now. I just needed to stop doubting myself and fight.

"Are you able to control it?" James eyes me up and down with a worried expression. "Maybe you should stay behind, we can't afford you being hurt."

"I can do it." I nodded at him and shoved him away. "Go stun the two large ones, I'll cover you!" He blinked at me and tilted his head.

"Are you sure?"

"James, go!" I shouted at him. I wanted him to trust me. If I didn't build up my confidence to fight, we all could lose our lives. James nodded at me before bolting in the opposite direction.

He brought his arms back as he ran at the 2 large Criebeasts and then extended his arm forward. The creatures raised their arms and swung down, but I shielded James again.

The sound of Aiden shrieking caught my attention. I whipped my head left and saw that one of the creatures grabbed him by his leg. It was about to chuck him aside but I smirked and extended my arm out in his direction.

A surge of energy pulses through my arm, and a red shield not only caused the creature to release Aiden but also pushed it back. Not today. I was able to hold up two force fields at once, and it felt so darn good to finally have control.

James gave me a thumbs up from afar, and formed a voltage ball in both of his hands. Then he threw them at two of the creatures. I released my shield my him to check on Aiden.

"You okay?" I panted heavily as I skipped over to him.

"Yeah!" He stood back up, but before he went out to fight in the open again, I quickly healed his wound.

"Go and help James!" I urged him forward and extended my arms out again, ready to shield whoever needed it.

Aiden rushed back out to the creatures and swung his arms up, and a burst of vines came wrapping around the feet of the Criebeasts covered in goo. They slipped right through and knocked James aside.

I gasped and pushed the slimy creatures back with my shield, hoping that Aiden would find another way to block them from coming closer to Su.

James struggled to stand back up for a moment, but grunted and forced himself off the ground. I needed to get to him so I could heal his wound, but I was busy forcing the creatures back.

"How long until she finally reaches them!?" James snarled, gesturing towards Su, who was locked in a trance.

I raced over to her to ask her, but she was deep into her search. "Give her 3 more minutes!" I yelled back at James. He groaned and flexed his arms forward.

"Shite!" He barked and stunned a few Criebeasts nearby. My force field went away suddenly, and I felt completely drained. I only had enough power left to heal. Why now!!

Aiden created a vine blockade which allowed me to get to James. I pressed my hands to the side of his torso, which shocked him. He instinctively jerked forward but I told him not to. "Stand still! I'm trying to heal you!"

I pressed my hands further into his side and the wound healed. James stood back up straight and knocked the creature back a bit more.

Su gasped and came back to reality, almost tumbling on her side. I examined her to make sure she was okay. "I am unable to reach them! They're too vengeful! It seems they are focused more on you all. It's difficult to catch their attention." She cried.
