Pagkatapos kumanta ng aking kapatid ay napatulala ang lahat sakaniya ganon rin ako.
'tangina, 'di ko ini-expect na ganito siya kagaling! Nakakain ba 'to ng cd?! Autotune?!'
Tumingin ako kay Zack at nakitang sinamaan niya ng tingin sina Tristan, Keiffer at Luxe na mabilis nag-iwasan ng tingin. Padabog na umupo si Zack kaya naman natawa ako. "Seloso amputa" ani ko habang umiiling.
Nilingon ko ulit ang aking kambal at nakitang papalapit na ito sa akin kasama ang kaniyang mga kaibigan. She look so scary that I am having a goosebumps just staring at her. What more if she'll gone mad? I think she will both raise heaven and hell, aish.
"Are the rooms clean?" she coldly ask that made me shiver.
"Y-yes" nauutal kong saad.
'Damn it, bakit ako nautal'
Nakita ko namang natawa ang apat sa pag-utal ko kaya sinamaan ko sila ng tingin.
"What time will this party end?" tanong ni Miles at dahil sa takot at kaba ay muntik na akong masamid sa sariling laway.
"Mamayang 1am pa. Kumain na ba kayo? May pagkain roon sa kitchen but if you don't like the food just tell manang to cook for you" saad ko. Tumango lang ito at nag-isip. Nakita kong parang nag-aalinlangan siya sa sasabihin niya kaya naman nilapitan ko ito at nilapit ang tenga sa kaniyang bibig gaya ng ginagawa ko noong mga bata pa lamang kami. Naramdaman kong natigilan siya kaya naman tinignan ko siya at nginitian.
"Kuya, I want pizza and chocolate" she shyly whispered that made me smile. Umayos ako ng tayo at inakbayan siya. "Let's go to the kitchen then" nakangiting saad ko na nakapagpangisi sakaniya.
Naglakad na kami papuntang kitchen at naramdaman ko namang sumunod sila sa amin. Nakita ko si manang na nag-aayos ng mga plato kaya naman nagkatinginan kami ni kambal at sabay na ngumiti ng pilyo/pilya. Dahan-dahan kaming lumapit sakaniya at sabay na hinawakan ang kaniyang balikat. Napatawa kami ng napatalon siya sa gulat.
"Manang, calm down, si Miles po ito" natatawang saad ni Miles.
Gulat na lumingon sa aming dalawa si manang. "Miles? Hija? Ikaw na ba talaga 'yan? Naku! Dalagang-dalaga kana. Mabuti at naisipan mong umuwi?" madamdaming saad ni manang habang masuyong tinitignan si Miles.
Bigla namang sumeryoso ang mukha ni Miles sa huling tanong ni manang. "To tell you the truth manang...I did not agree to stay here, mas gugustuhin ko pang sa Korea ako magstay kaysa rito ang kaso wala akong choice" saad niya na aking ikinagulat.
"What? Hindi ka pumayag? E papaano ka nila napapunta rito?" gulat kong tanong. Bumaling naman ito sa akin at tamad akong tinignan. "Do you really think that I will be here if I have a choice? You know dad Maelx" ani nito.
"I know dad Miles but knowing you? You can disobey dad!"
"You must also know that I am doing this because this is my responsibility as the heiress" she dismissively said.
"Kuya, where's my food?" kunot-noong tanong nito. Tinampal ko naman ang noo dahil sa pagkalimot. Pumunta ako sa ref at kumuha ng ilang chocolates at isang box ng pizza. "Here, iinitin ko pa ba ang pizza?" tanong ko. "Hindi na. I'm hungry" sagot nito.
Binalingan ko naman ng tingin ang iba. "Gusto niyo ring kumain?" tanong ko sa mga ito. Agad namang umiling ang mga ito kaya tinanguan ko nalang sila at umupo sa tabi ng kapatid kong todo lamon, hindi man lang nahiya na nakatingin sa kaniya ang lahat.
"Stop staring, it's creeping the hell out of me" she coldly said which made them looked away. Lihim naman akong napatawa sa inakto nila.
"I haven't enrolled you yet" I said.
"No need. We are already enrolled kahapon pa" maikling tugon nito na aking ikinasurpresa. "Don't give me that look asshole. Dad called tito Jericho" she said like she knew what I'm thinking.
"What about your things then?" I asked.
"We already bought our needs before our flight. Stop asking me, I'm eating for god's sake!" she annoyingly said while I on the other hand just laughed at her complaints.
"Babe, will we attend class tomorrow or not?" Fritz calmly asked her while I watch him sit on her left side. Usually, she'll curse you if you call her by names but I was left dumbfounded when she even rest her head on Fritz's shoulder.
"We will" she said.
I look around and saw Zack clenching his jaw, glaring at Raine and Fritz's direction with his fist tightly closed. I softly chuckled at the scene I am witnessing. 'Oh, how I love witnessing a love triangle'
I was about to say something when my sister kicked me.
"You asshole, you won't get the car you wanted and I will make sure to freeze all of your bank accounts for 1 month!" she said with full of authority and finality on her voice before she stood up and walk upstairs together with her friends which left me really dumbfounded.
Nanghihinang napaupo ako sa isang stool rito sa dining area bago mangiyak-ngiyak na magdabog.
"T-tangina guys...wala na akong bagong kotse, wala pa akong pera?!" hindi makapaniwalang saad ko. Natawa naman sila sa inakto ko.
"Tangina dude, ikaw yung kuya pero parang ikaw pa iyong bunso takte!" natatawang saad ni Keiffer.
"I understand him though hahaha! His sister is hella scary especially that her voice is as cold as ice plus her emotionless face brrrr dude it sent shivers down to my spine!" Luxe exaggeratedly added.
"Well, I agree with Luxe, your sister is really scary" patawa-tawang sang-ayon ni Tristan.
"She's different, she changed" mahinang saad ni Zack na ikinatigil ko.
"Well, yeah, she really did change hahahaha!" saad ko bago nagbuntong-hininga.
"She's far different from the Raine I used to know..." mahinang saad nito. Sasagot na sana ako ng bilang may sumagot.
"People can change" maikli at malamig na saad nito. "I'll just get some chocolates" she said as she continued walking as if no one is looking at her. "End the party Maelx. It's already 1am, we still have class tomorrow so you better get your ass up and tell the people to go home" she seriously said as she walked upstairs.
