CHAPTER 10

Miles' Pov.

Pagkatapos akong tanungin ng isa sa aking mga kaklase ay pinaupo na kami ng aming guro and the only chairs that are available ay ang nasa likuran. I chose to sit beside the window so I would be able to see the happenings outside. Nagsimulang magsalita ang aming guro at itinalakay ang nasa librong nasa lamesa sa kaniyang harapan. I didn't bother to listen at her since I already read and know what she is discussing. I just played with my pen and look at the view outside while I patiently wait for the teacher to dismiss us.

I was spacing out when someone suddenly called my name, I immediately look in front only to know na kami nalang pala ang natira rito dahil umalis na ang iba kong kaklase.

"What are you thinking? You're too occupied that I had to shout your name thrice" nakapamewang na saad ni Blaire.

"Uh, it was nothing. Let's go?" I said as I stood up and get my bag.

Hindi naman na siya sumagot na aking ipinagpasalamat. Tahimik kaming lumabas ng classroom at pumunta sa second floor dahil naroon ang classroom sa pangalawang subject namin. Ang kasama ko lang sa subject na iyon ay sina Blaire at Claire dahil law ang kinuha ni Fritz while engineering ang kinuha ni Troy.

The boys bid their goodbyes to us before proceeding to their next class while we girls continue walking until we reach our classroom for our next class. We stopped in front of our classroom's door as I gestured Blaire to go in first and she did. As we enter our room everybody became silent and look at us. I lick my lower lip as I walk pass the two when an as-hole called me through shouting, guess who? Of course, no other than my twin fvcking brother. I rolled my eyes before I lazily look at him and raise a brow. I mouthed him 'what' and he signaled me, us to come and sit beside them. Napabuntong hininga ako bago tamad na naglakad papunta sa kaniya. I didn't bother looking at the guy beside him even though I'm feeling conscious because he is staring at me. 'Why the fvck is he staring at me? Is there something wrong with my face?!' I continue walking as I spot a chair beside the window empty and it's perfect but... he's sitting beside that chair!!! 'Uh, why am I even making that as a big deal? He's nothing! It was all in the past now! Come on! Pull your fvcking self Harraine Miles!'

I remain emotionless as I sit on the chair I spotted. I pulled out my phone, put my earphones on my ears as I played the music and close my eyes. I am enjoying my relaxation when someone poked me in which I didn't bother to look but this fvcking whoever person is this still kept on poking me that I got annoyed. I opened my eyes as I annoyingly look at the person who kept on poking me only to be shocked that it's him! But I immediately erase the emotion on my face and made it emotionless.

"What?" I lazily ask.

"How are you?" he asked.

"I am obviously doing good and just fine" I said in a matter of fact tone which caused him to chuckle that caught everyone's attention. 'Great! Now everybody is looking at us. Just great' I hissed.

"It's been a long time since we've talked, Raine, I missed you...so much" he seriously said as he cupped my face and brush his thumb on my cheek while looking deeply into my eyes. Longing and affection is visible in his eyes but I remained my face emotionless. Inalis ko ang kaniyang kamay na nakahawak sa aking mukha at inilagay iyon sa kaniyang hita.

"Drop the act Zackary Dale. You can easily contact me through email or my social media accounts, you can get my number from my twin brother and you can easily book a flight to visit me there but you didn't. What we had in the past will remain in the past. And, it's Miles not Raine." I firmly said as I smiled at him a little. Umayos ako ng upo at iniwan siyang nakatunganga.

Maayos akong nakaupo habang naglalaro ng mobile legends nang may mga bruhang umepal.

"Hey bitch! How dare you flirt my boyfriend in front of me?!" she shouted.

'Anak ng tokwa, ang sakit sa tainga ng matinis at parang palaka niyang boses'

Bahagya ko namang hinilot ang gilid ng tainga ko bago ko pinatay ang aking phone at kalmado itong tiningala.

"Lower down your voice, Averil, ang sakit sa tainga ng boses mo." I said in a matter of fact tone. "And, what? You said what? Bitch who? Are you referring to yourself? And what? I flirted with your boyfriend? When, where, how and who the fvck is your imaginary boyfriend?" tamad kong tanong at saka nang-uuyam siyang tinignan na ikinapula ng pagmumukha niya. 'That's it, make this scene worth awhile or I'll fvcking kick your ugly face'

"You! How dare you?!" she shouted and was about to slap me when I stood up and slap her, twice. Now, that feels good.

"Oops, my hand slipped, that must've hurt. Miss Woore, oh, sounds like whore as in w h o r e, you wanna learn how to be a real queen bee? Sit the fvck down and let me show you how it's done, done by a real queen not a fvcking wannabe queen." I sarcastically said as I smiled at her sweetly and caressed her hair smoothly and pulled it out of the blue. "Oops, my bad, my hand slipped, again." I said as I chuckled. "Know your place and know who the hell is the person you're messing with, alright? Stop humiliating yourself, you look dumb and desperate." I coldly said as I get my backpack.

"Gaja, sueob eul jaleul geoya." I coldly said and walk out of the room.

[Translation: Let's go, we'll cut class.]
