Chapter 117♡

(Olivia's P.O.V)

After Caleb's appointment, I put him in his pushchair, we went inside. "I'll get his bag Mommy." Amanda saw us and headed outside. "Hey sweetie. Hey Olivia." She stroked her godson's hair. "I need coffee. A lot of it." As she took him inside, I sat down in my office. Taking some deep breaths, I heard my phone ring. "Hey Elliot. Oh, she's with you? Thank goodness. Yes, take her home. Yes, ring Claire. Make sure she stays there. Yeah, Paige and Caleb are here at the precint. Text me in a bit. Yep. Love you too."

Getting some coffee, Amanda was sat with Caleb. "Hey buddy. Are you ok?" He giggled a bit. "My godson is adorable." Finn then came over. "Who's this pretty little 7 year old?" He enveloped Paige into a big hug. "Aw! Hey Uncle Finn. Could I ask you some questions? It's for my school work." As he sat with her, I sat with Amanda. "I've got to talk to another detective about something." Amanda said that she'd watch Caleb whilist was doing some paperwork. "Thanks." Paige was busy with her Uncle Finn. I was worried about our 16 year old. Those text messages really riled her up. Ringing the school, I informed Anna that she wasn't herself. 'I'll talk to her teachers, Ria and Jason. Is she at home right now?" I said yes.

"My partner is at home with her. We are going to intervene. Anna asked me if she metioned her journal or techniques. "I tried to get her to breathe.. but she was too stressed. She did metion her journal though. She said that she wanted to write in it. She's been sober for at least 7 months." Anna wrote things down. "I'll talk to her about some things. Let her know that I'm thinking of her." I thanked her. "Thankyou. And I will tell her that.' Finn then knocked on my office door. "Paige is enjoying being here." I thanked him for keeping her entertained. "That's ok Liv. I'll get her a police badge too. She's asking me so many questions. Amanda and Carisi asked if you wanted Caleb in here. "Yes please. At least I'll be able to just check on him." As Amanda brought him in, he smiled at me. "Hello you gorgeous little man." Amanda handed him to me. "He's suffering from asthma. Dr Green said that he'll probably grow out of it. But, he wrote him a prescription so he should be ok." Amanda asked me what was going on..

"My eldest daughter is very poorly right now. She thinks that shouting at her father, going back to her old dealer and drinking is a way of coping with the fact that Brett's new girlfriend is taunting her." As I rocked the pushchair, Caleb just stared at me. "Look at your beautiful brown eyes baby.. momma loves you." He giggled. "I feel so bad for her. Does Barba know?" I shook my head. "I've thought about ringing him to be there for the intervention. But, she hates being ambushed. What if she ends up resenting me for basically forcing her to go to some rehab facility?" Amanda touched my shoulder. "Ariel loves you Olivia. You're her mom. You just want the best for her." Yawning, I rang Nina.

"Hi. I've just been busy. Sorry. Ari's poorly again. Yep. I just need some time. I'll talk to you soon. I know. Thankyou. I love you all lots." As I ended the call, I saw Paige come in with an NYPD jacket on. "This is our newest member of the squad." I giggled. "I'm Paige Stabler!" Well, Detective Stabler mommy." She ran over to me.. sitting on my knee. "Did you finish off your worksheet?" She nodded. "Yes I did." Caleb then fell asleep again. "Good girl. Did you want something speical to eat for tea later?" She nodded. "Could we have tacos?" I said that sounded good. "Uncle Carisi said that pasta tastes yummy in it." Amanda laughed. "Your uncle is funny." Finn then popped in. "Olivia.. you said you wanted to talk?" I nodded. "Come on Paige. Let's get some food." Carisi held her hand.

"Ariel is really ill right now. Me and Elliot are planning to have professionals intervene." Finn asked how he could help. "I'd like you to be there for our support system. She needs to know that we all love her." Finn agreed. "Me and Pheobe love her like she's our daughter. Of course. Will Paige and Caleb be with Elliot's mom or something?" I said yes. "I might get Nancy to have them. I don't want them to become distressed." Finn had an idea. "Maybe me, Pheobe, Amanda and Carisi can take them for the evening. We can go to my house.  It'll give you and Elliot time to process things once Ariel has gone." I hugged him. "Thanks."

Caleb then piped up. "Uncle inn?" Finn went around to talk to him. "Hey little man. How you doing?" He giggled at him. "I'm ood thanks." His little voice was so cute!😍 As Finn left my office, I rang Nancy. "Hi Nancy. Yes, are you alright? Yes, the kids are ok. I was ringing to ask about you maybe wanting to have Caleb and Paige for the night?" She said that she would love to have them. "Charlie would love to see them as well. How's my other son?" I said that he was better. "He's great. He's always busy with Caleb." Nancy giggled. "I love him so much, but yes I'll have them this evening. I've missed Paige and Ariel too." I said that I'd inform her more about Ari later. "See you soon." As I finished off my paperwork, I got a call from Will Dodds. "Hi Will. Yes, I know your dad runs that precint. Oh ok. Why is it SVU?" He explained more. "Oh no. How old is the little girl?" He said that she was 10 years old.  'Ok. I'm on my way."

As I put the phone down, Caleb yawned.. then he fell back to sleep. Kissing his forehead, I checked in with Elliot.

This was the life of busy mom and an SVU Detective..♡ As I put my coat on, Finn said he had everything handled. "Mommy!" Paige hugged me. "I'll be back as soon as I can sweetheart. Gran will have you and Caleb for the evening later on ok?" She nodded. "That's ok with me. Go and save people Mommy!" I kissed her cheek. "Be good for your uncles and auntie. Look after your brother." I hugged her quickly. 'I will!"
