Chapter 22♡

(Simon's P.O.V)

I was at work when I got a call from Liv. "Hey. Yeah. I'm just at work. Of course. I can meet you at the apartment." I worked for a package company. It wasn't the best.. but it was a job. I finished at about 2pm. Making my way see Olivia, I knocked on the door. "You are beautiful." Cuddling my niece, she babbled. "So, how are things at work and stuff sis?" As she sorted out the kitchen, she told me everything. "Stressful. Looking after this little monkey helps a lot." As we went to chill, I told him about Nina. "She's in a pretty bad place at the moment. I'm trying to just be there for her." Simon entertained Paige as he asked me how life was. "Busy. We are taking care of a 14 year old at the moment. She's up in her bedroom. It's complicated."

As he drank his glass of water, I sat down. "She loves you." Paige glanced at me.. "She's adorable. Is she good during the night?" Nodding, I told him that she's well behaved. 'She sleeps well, she loves hugs. And she's taking a liking to Ariel." Hearing her gurgle, I got my top ready. "I'm breastfeeding." He handed her back over. "How are things with you and Ell?" She smiled. "Things are great actually.' She told me more. "He's trying really hard to get back into my good books Si. Yeah, I may have a bad moment every now and then, but he's great at calming me down." Simon just said that he was concerned about my mental health. "Have you cut?" As she was feeding, I was honest. "I've been ok. Some days, I want to cut.. but other days, I open up. Therapy is good too." I heard footsteps. Ariel peeked her head through the door.

"Hi sweetie. This is my brother Simon." As Paige finished feeding, I burped her. Ariel sat down at the table with her pad and pen. She wrote on it.. showing Simon.

It's nice to meet you Simon.

He wrote on it.

It's nice to meet you.

She then wrote something else.

Could we get milkshakes?

Simon smiled.

(Olivia's P.O.V)

"Of course we can sweetie." We all heard a loud burp. "Oh.. excuse you!" My nose touched Paige's. As I cleaned her up, Simon got going. 'Let me know how Nina gets on. It was nice to meet you Ariel." She nodded her head. As I went to see him out, Elliot texted me.

I'm just finishing up at the precinct. How's Paige and Ariel?Xxx

Putting Paige in her bouncer, she babbled as I texted my boo back.

Ahhh cool. They are both fine. Simon has just gone. Did you want a little date night tonight? Just the two of us?😊💗Xx

Paige then decided to squeal at the top of her lungs..😂 'Ok missy. Mommy can hear you. Let's go out for a bit then." As I put on some fresh clothes, I made sure Paige was all comfortable in her carseat. As Ariel sat in the front seat with me, I asked if she would like to go back to counselling. She wrote her answer down.

I would like that.

As we went to a little cafe, I went to find us a seat. "This one looks tasty." It was a strawberry cream one. "I'll order that." Ariel smiled at me for the first time. She only communicated with pen and paper when she didn't feel like talking. Me and Elliot knew that now. My phone beeped.

I'm so glad that they are both ok. That sounds nice.💗💗💗 Simon should babysit. Xx

He was so funny. Amanda then texted me.

How did it go with Nina? I'm actually ready for tonight. It will be so nice to spend time with Carisi. And I'm going with the outfit that we chose!😉Xx
