Chapter 14♡

(Elliot's P.O.V)

Olivia had a few nightmares last night. She gripped on to me pretty tight. I thought about going to see the therapist myself. I wanted to know how I could help her through her periods of distress. Seeing her stir, I stroked her cheek as her eyes fluttered open. 'Morning you.' She yawned as I kissed her. We got up, got dressed. Packing up our bags, she thanked me. 'That's ok. It was lovely spending one on time with you.' As we checked out, we went to the car. Hugging Liv, I just reminded her what we talked about. 'I know. I'm going to book an appointment with the therapist.' As we drove back to the apartment, Liv squealed. 'There is a sale at Barney's! We could pop there to look at baby stuff.' We were a week away from finding out the gender, but we decided to pull it forward as Liv was starting to become impatient.😂 I had texted Mom to see if she could pick up the gender reveal envelope from the doctor. Nina, Amanda, Finn, Munch, my mom and brother had all been notified too. We were basically organising a baby shower party at home. 

Liv had no idea. She deserved this party. She was going through a lot. I wanted to make sure that I was being a proper boyfriend. Taking care of her. Treating her. Listening whenever she needed to vent. As we pulled up at home, Olivia took her bags inside. 'Aren't you coming in?" I had to phone the guys to see if everything was sorted. 'Yep. I just have to make a call.' Seeing her head inside, I rang Finn. 'Hey. Did you get the cupcakes?' He giggled. 'Yes I did. Your mom has just texted me the gender of your child.' Asking him straight away, he said no. 'It'll ruin the surprise. See you in a bit.' As I went inside, Liv was unpacking her stuff. 'Hey.' Turning around, she smiled. 'I love our bedroom. It's so spacious. Who were you talking to downstairs?' Giggling, I said no one. 'Ell!' Hugging her, I just stared at her.

 'Are you gonna freshen up?' Saying yes, she asked me why. 'It's a surprise! Don't come downstairs until I come and get you.' She laughed. 'Alright. Love you.' Going downstairs, I made some finishing touches to the tables. Hearing a knock on the front door, Amanda and Nina turned up. 'I'm so glad that you two are here.' Once I had explained everything, they helped me. 'Carisi said that he would bring Jessie and Billie in a bit.' Nina also mentioned that Seth was outside. 'He's just parking the car.' Taking them both outside, the marvelled at all my work. 'It's so cute!'

I thanked her. 'Hey girls!' Jessie and Billie ran towards their mom. 'Hi babe.' Seth walked in. Shaking his hand, he seemed cool. Carisi caught up with me as Finn and I placed everything out on the tables. 'We'll see if Liv is ready.' The girls headed up. Hearing my phone ring, Mom said that she was outside. With Charlie. Going to open the door, Mom greeted me. "Hi sweetheart. Look at you." Kissing her cheek, Charlie hugged me. "Thanks bro." As we headed outside, I introduced mom to everyone. "Elliot?" Turning to look at my brother, he smiled. "I'm happy for you."

(Olivia's P.O.V)

"Elliot said he would come and get me when everything was ready. What's taking so long?" Giggling, Nina asked her if she had an idea about what he had been up to.  "Don't ask me! Seth is downstairs." Liv squealed. "I'm excited to meet him. I hope he's a nice guy." Nina spoke to me about how her pregnancy was going. "I've never been so tired. And hungry." Amanda laughed with Nina as they helped me. I had chosen to wear a nice blue printed maxi dress. "They are just so comfortable to wear." After they had finished helping me, they left me. "We'll see you in a bit." I didn't like surprises. I needed to know everything. Hearing footsteps, my love peered his head through the door. He really was handsome. "I have a surprise for you downstairs." His hands wrapped around my body. Touching my bump. "Just know that I adore you." I said the same. "Now, close your eyes." Doing as he instructed, he carefully led me downstairs. I could hear a few whispers.. Elliot took his hands off my eyes. "SURPRISE!"

I was so overwhelmed with all the love and effort that everyone had put in. "This is so beautiful. 'Thankyou everyone!" Each person congratulated us as we marvelled over everything. "Is that what I think it is?" Looking over at the corner table, I saw two confetti cannons.. "Ahh. I love these." Elliot's mom walked up to us. "I took a peek at the reveal card earlier.. I'm so pleased for you two." Smiling at her, I asked if we could do the gender reveal now. "Of course we can babe."

Everyone gathered around us as we stood at the table with the party cannons. Both of us had one each. 'I'm voting for a boy!" Finn shouted.. We both giggled. "I'm voting for a girl!" Both Amanda and Nina agreed along with Seth. "I'll go with a girl as well bro!" Charlie shouted. "Auntie Liv.. we're going with a boy." Jessie and Billie shouted as well. Elliot's mom agreed with a girl. As they counted down from 10, we both pulled the cannons, we both gasped at the same time!!

"IT'S A GIRL!!!!" Both me and Elliot cuddled as we processed the news. "Are we really having a mini Liv?" Nodding, Nina and Amanda squealed! "Eeeek!!! How exciting." Elliot pulled me into him.. gently kissing me. "It looks like we are." He smiled so much. As it got later into the evening, we all just had fun together. As I got to know Seth, he asked me about Nina. "She's very fun. She's been through a lot. You seem very kind. It's been great getting to know you. I'm excited to have a godchild." As the girls came to catch up with me, Elliot's mom sat next to me. "I'm so happy for my new granddaughter to arrive. I can tell that my son truly loves you Olivia." Rubbing her shoulder, I said that he and my daughter are my world. "I love him too Nancy. He's amazing." Nina said that she was excited to see what she was expecting. "Hey Liv?" Carisi said congratulations. "Thanks."

The rest of the evening was just perfect. Spending time with everyone was lovely.
