Chapter: 43 Plan of Action and Initiation

Chapter: 43

Ezio's POV: 

I came into my Uncle's study room as we were back at the Villa now in Monteriggoni, Tuscany. Serena was sitting on the desk as Paola attending to her wrist. I felt horrible for her as her wrist was almost broken by her father. She hesitate and that's what I was afraid that she will do that. At least it's nothing serious and I don't have to worry about her so much. I only wish I could have been closer to her and not have been distracted by the guards.

Serena was looking at the others as she was unfamiliar and my Uncle finally came into his study room where everyone was. Uncle Mario murmured "Serena...let me introduce to the rest of the Assassin's."

Serena's beautiful eyes widen as she look around seeing the smiling faces of our fellow Assassin's. Uncle Mario started "The woman who is bandaging you're wrist, Serena. That is Paola, she help Ezio with his basic training"

He motion for the other woman that look like Paola "And this is Theodora" 

She look over at her as Theodora murmured "It's a pleasure in meeting you...we have heard many things" 

I could tell her cheeks were turning red as she nodded her head to her. Uncle Mario continued on as he pointed to a guy "This here is Antonio..." 

She cringed from that name as I know why and I frown and everyone notice that she cringed. Everyone look at Antonio and he put his hands up "I didn't do anything! I only heard of her, I never did anything" 

"It's not him..." She murmured sadly. 

Everyone share a confused look except for me and my Uncle as we know what had went down. Uncle Mario said "Let's continue, Antonio here has help Ezio with many things along with his thieves guild." 

"Don't forget me now..." A familiar voice came from behind me as the person place a hand on my shoulder.

I look over to see La Volpe standing there and I smile at him as Serena's eyes widen once more "You're part of it too, but I thought you were only a thief?"

"It's something that I'm very good at and it comes in handy with the Assassin's as well" La Volpe answered her question. 

She nodded as Uncle Mario pointed to a taller dude "And this is Bartolomeo"

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Serena" He said bowing slightly. 

She look at everyone "So...everyone here is an Assassin..." 

"That is quite correct, dear" Paola said as she was finish with her wrist. 

"And now...we'll make you an official member of the Creed, Miss Serena Marino" Another voice came into the conversation and we all look to see Niccolò Machiavelli. 

Mario greeted him "Ah...Niccolò it's a pleasure in seeing you again. Serena, this man is from Roma and he is the Master Assassin" 

Serena nodded to him as he said "Let's get you're initiation started, Miss Serena Marino"

Serena's POV: 

I was standing at top of a church after we had climb up and now everyone was standing around as Mario was going back and forth in front of me. He stop in front of me with his hood up as my hood was down. He began by saying "This is initiation we will recognized Serena Marino to join the order of the Brotherhood." 

"To say that nothing is true, is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization. To say that everything is permitted, is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with their consequences, whether glorious or tragic" Mario said as he made eye contact with me. 

I nodded as he murmured "Now, miss Serena, repeat after me. Nothing is true..." 

"Nothing is true..." I murmured loudly enough for everyone to hear. 

"Everything is permitted..." He spoke again. 

"Everything is permitted" I repeated after him. 

"Now, I can bestowed the honor of welcoming you fully into the brotherhood, Serena" Mario cheerfully said with a smile on his lips. 

Everyone clap and my eyes went to Ezio as he was smiling and I could see the love in his eyes. I could also see pride in his eyes as well and I never felt happier than I am right now. Soon, everything will come to an end. I will get my revenge and everything will settle down fully. 

Mario murmured "Now, it's time for the leap of faith everyone" 

Everyone line up and after one by one, they took the leap of faith into the pile of hay down below us. Once it was my turn, I was thrill to be doing this again. I let myself fall with my arms wide open and I felt the air rushing past my face as I turn my body in mid-air. I landed in the hay perfectly. I climb out of it with Ezio's help as we all went back to the villa. 

And just to remind everyone, I do not own anything or my character and some parts of the story, but other than that. It all belongs to Ubisoft.
