Serena's POV: 

My eyes open to see a familiar canopy above me as I was confused in where I am. I look around slowly as I finally recognize the room and I realize that we were back in the Villa. No one was in the room with me and I wonder where everyone was. I try to sit up, but the searing pain in my side made me re-think that. I lay there as the pain ease down to a comfortable feeling where it wasn't really unpleasant. I couldn't even sit up because of what my father did to me. He isn't my father, but a man who just wants power. 

A sigh escape from me as I realized that I didn't get my revenge, but somehow I don't feel that feeling anymore. I feel like it somehow resolved itself and that I don't care about what my father is doing right now or the need to find him and end his life. I was peaceful for once and I didn't really understand that. The door open and I look up to see Ezio coming in with a smile on his face. A smile spread across my lips as my heart gave a leap in my chest. I breath out "Ezio..." 

He close the distance between us as he press a kiss to me "Serena, I'm glad that you're okay" 

I cup his cheeks with my hands as I whisper "I love you, Ezio"

Ezio murmured with a smile on his face "I love you too, Serena" 

A giggle escape from my lips as his lips meant mine once again as it was just me and him. No one else and it felt great to have him next to my side still. It was such a warm feeling fluttering through my chest that I couldn't believe that after everything that happen. We were still alive and that's all that matters right now. I didn't care that my father was still alive. I just want Ezio and that's it. He pull away slowly "Serena...we have a couple of visitors that would like to see you when you have woken up" 

"Who?" I asked a little confused "Is it more Assassins?" 

"Yes..." He answered with that smirk that I know to well. 

I narrow my eyes as I said sharply "Ezio Auditore..." 

"Just wait and I'll go get them..." He chuckle before kissing me again and then running out of the room. 

I was confused by the way he was acting and why the secrecy? Who wants to see me and why? What could possibly be so important that Ezio had to run out of the room to get them? I let out a sigh as I shook my head. What is he up to? 

It didn't take long as the door open again and the first person was a person that I thought that I would never get to see again. I struggle into a sitting position, but he push me back down carefully. He engulf me in a hug and I continue believe that he was hugging me. A warm feeling was coming back as I wrap my arms around him. I felt my eyes pricking with tears as I couldn't believe it.

He pull away chuckling as he wipe my tears away from my eyes. He murmured "I'm sorry, Serena. I put you through so much pain, when I should have known that he was lying. I don't care that you're his daughter or the fact that we are half-siblings, I'm still you're brother that you have grew up with" 

"Antonio...I have missed you greatly. Welcome home, brother" I smile as tears of joy spring down my face as I choke out "I forgive you" 

Antonio hug me again as I hug him back as I could hear him chuckling against me "You have always been a softy, Serena" 

I punch his back "You're pushing your luck, brother of mine" 

We both end chuckling and I suck in a breath as the pain went through my side. He chuckle "Sorry, I didn't mean to irritated your wound, by making you laugh" 

"It's okay, I'll live" I said smiling at him. 

Another person walk into the room and I look to see that it was our mother "Mother..." 

"Hello, my dear sweet Serena" She murmured kissing my forehead before she hug me. 

I miss her hugs as they were full of warmth and I felt like a little kid again "I miss you, mother" 

"I miss you too. I'm so happy that you're okay, Serena" She murmured. 

We pull away slowly as I notice the robes on them and I blink a couple of times "Wait...you're an assassin again, mother?" 

She nodded as she said with a smile "I'm training your brother to become a full assassin, that's why it has took us so long to get back to you guys" 

"Yup, I'm going to become a full assassin here shortly. Just like my older sister" Antonio said smiling at me. 

It was so different to see him like this and then what I have remember when I see him last time. He was a complete mess and full of anger, hatred, confusion. Now, he is back to his old self. What did mother show him that could have change him so much that now he was finally my brother that he has always been. I thought I wasn't going to have a brother anymore, but now my family was back together again. Ezio stood in the doorway as he came in a little with a smile and I notice he was holding something in his hand. 

"I have something to ask..." Ezio said. 

My mother and my brother look at him as he got down on one knee next to the bed. I look at him confusedly as he took my hand in his. "It has been wonderful being by your side, Serena. I love how much I have grown into loving you. No other woman could ever compare to a woman like you. Strong, independent, compassion, and show such gentleness that I could see that I want you as my wife from now." He paused as he look at my mother "With your mother's permission, of course" 

We all chuckle as I was amazed by what I was hearing from him. My mother nodded as I could see she was excited and my brother shook his head, but there was a smile on his lips that says otherwise. Ezio look back at me "Serena, will you make me the happiest man and marry me?" 

"Yes, Ezio...I will!" I happily answered as he put a beautiful ring on my fingers. 

"Claudia, gave me this ring as my mother had given it to her. So, now she have given it to me to give to you" He murmured as he lean to hug me. 

I hug him "It's lovely, Ezio" 

"Good." He said as we chuckle before we kissed each other slowly.
