"I would know what this is about." he said walking down the steps.
Dio put his fists down quickly and bowed to Father. "Sorry, the dog jumped at me and in my haste I struck it."
Now I was even more crossed.
He's lying to Father! Dio kicked Danny because he wanted to! The look on his face said it all.
It was then that I realized my fist were still up. Now I'm certain I look bad in Father's eyes. I put my arms back down by my sides.
Father led Dio inside the mansion and I stayed behind.
I looked behind me to see Y/N. She didn't say a word and had a frightened expression on her face.
I made my way to her and held her hands in mine.
I know it in my heart that Dio kicked Danny out of malice, but I've got to make her feel better.
"It's okay, Y/N." I assured. "Dio was only protecting himself. He doesn't know Danny like you and I, so it's understandable."
She nodded at my words. Still, the fear in her eyes never left. Suddenly, I felt a pair of arms around my neck. Y/N's arms. *gasp* I felt her nuzzle into my neck. And just like that my face was flushed.
She held me tightly. I didn't know what to do.
Y/N... My love...
I wrapped my arms around her waist tightly and held her close, hoping this moment would last forever. I knew we had to go inside with Father though.
I let her go, still keeping one arm around her waist and placed my open hand on her cheek. "Let's join the others inside." I said
She looked at me one last time.

DIO's POV
Of course, the mansion was extraordinary. I would expect nothing less.
"Welcome to the manor. Consider yourself a part of the family." said Sir Joestar.
He began introducing me to the maids and butlers of the manor.
"Everyone, I would have died in the crash that claimed my wife were it not for Dio's father. You will treat him as you would my own son."
They all bowed in agreement. "Very well, your lordship." I smirked.
