When Dio came into our lives, I never could have expected how horribly wrong things would turn out. Not for Jojo nor myself. From the moment he was accepted into the Joestar household, our lives were destined to fall apart.

I am doomed to live a very long and miserable life alone.

Dio, you have cursed me and that I cannot forgive. You've ruined mine and Jojo's lives. You've only desired to benefit yourself from the very start.

I know you aren't dead. And I will not rest until you are. I know that it is my destiny to end your life.

Dio, you cold-hearted bastard...

Y/N's POV

Jojo and I sprinted.

Dio was already walking up the stairs with Lord Joestar's medication.

"Dio!" yelled Jojo. We stopped in our tracks.

"Whatever it is you have to say, can it wait? Father is due for his next dosage." said Dio, walking up the last few steps of stairs. He was holding a silver medicine tray.

"All this time you have been the one bringing it to Master Joestar." I said.

"Yes, what of it?" asked Dio, his arms open.

Jojo held up the letter. "This letter, your father sent it to mine. Guess what it says."

He began reading the letter out loud.

Pay close attention to Dio. Make note of his body language and reactions.

"Your Lordship,

Sickness has laid me right low. It is the end for me, whatever it is. My chest hurts, my fingers are all swelling up. I can't breath but for all this coughing."

I heard an angry snarl from Dio as he set the tray holding the supposed medication.

"Those are the same symptoms as Father's, blow for blow! No way is this mere coincidence!" Jojo shouted.

I could feel a wave of anxiety hit me.

Just breathe. Now is not the time to cry and be weak. Jojo needs me, George needs me. If Jojo IS right about Dio, I must be strong. I must be here for the only family I have. Even if I'm scared, even if I want to break down and cry, I cannot.

You can cry later...

Dio smirked. He spoke softly, "What are you implying, Jojo?"

Jojo charged towards the medicine tray Dio had set down earlier.

"I'm having a doctor look at this powder." said Jojo, determination in his tone.

He grabbed the tiny envelope containing the powder.
