Y/N's POV

I opened my eyes slowly. I could feel that I was completely wet everywhere. The smell of rain and grass and... smoke? was in the air.

Why am I outside in the rain?

My body was aching everywhere. Even my teeth ached.

What happened?

I slowly stood up, feeling pain everywhere. I recognized that I wasn't too far from the mansion. I was left out on the grass fields nearby.

"JOJOOO!" I yelled, looking around. "JOJOOOOO!"

It was then that I noticed my hands.

The nails on my hands, they're long and yellow. They're absolutely disgusting!

I felt discomfort within my shoes and looked down at my feet.

"My shoes, why are they so much tighter now? I can't even wiggle my toes! What's wrong with me!?"

I attempted to move my toes when something ripped a hole in both of them. Something sharp and pointy ripped through.

"AHH! Don't tell me my toes did this!" I yelled.

I sat down and took them off and to my surprise, it was my toenails. They had grown long and sharp just as my fingernails had and ripped right through my socks and shoes.

I began to feel my anxiety kick in. I was beginning to panick and it did not feel good.

"What's the meaning of this!?" I panicked to myself.

The rain began to fall harder.

It's been so cold today. As a matter of fact, it's been freezing all week. I was so cold earlier today that I even dressed warm. Now, I don't feel a thing. It's as if there is no temperature at all. My body in general, everything feels so different. Normally, my heart begins to beat rapidly when I feel anxiety, when I feel scared, or nervous. I'm not feeling anything whatsoever.

Suddenly, it all hit me.

Dio, he turned himself into a monster using the stone mask. When he revealed himself, he had claws like mine. His eyes were glowing and he had grown abnormally long and sharp fangs.

I opened my mouth feeling scared of what I would find. I touched my teeth and felt a sharpness. The fangs were indeed there. Two on the bottom, two on top.

My eyes shot wide open as I felt the fangs.

"No. T-this can't be real. This is all just a bad dream! Any moment now, I'll wake up in the mansion like I always do."

I dropped down to my knees and onto the muddy wet grass.

This is no dream, this is really happening.

I stayed there in the middle of the field, barefoot and wet, not knowing what to do. I wanted to cry, but I literally couldn't. I curled up on the ground and leaned my head down against my knees for while. The only thing I could think of was to talk to Mother, but she wasn't here.

Mother, what's happening to me. Why is this happening to me. What am I supposed to do now.

My head shot up from my knees. "Mandisa Avdol, I need to see her!"
I shouted. I quickly stood up and began running in the direction of town, where SHE was.
