He could've sworn you did something to him to make him feel like this. You had to. There was no way he could be actually falling in love with someone, especially in the midst of the apocalypse -but here he was, doing exactly that. And God was he falling hard.
It was insane how you managed to have him wrapped around your finger (and how blind you were to the fact). It was like you didn't even realize it, like you didn't even know he was madly in love with you. Almost like you didn't feel the same.
Five didn't know he felt about that. On one hand he was relieved he could quickly get over this phase as he called it. There were more important things to be keeping him up at night anyways. But on the other hand, he and began to like the way you made him feel. From the way just your smile can make it feel as though everything could be okay to the way he began to like his name more simply because of the way you said it.
He doesn't know what will happen now between the two of you.
He doesn't know if he'll tell you or suppress the feelings that he's grown to accept but the one thing he was positive about, the only thing he's ever been so sure about, was that he'd do just about for you. To see that smile again, to hear the way you say his name again, to feel the way you make you him feel again-he'd do anything.
As long as it'd be you to greet him once it's over, he'd do it.
