"You know-" Rebekah started as she zipped my dress up. "I always wanted a sister.." She smiled meeting my gaze in the mirror. "I'm so happy it was you that was destined for my brothers."
"So am I." I agreed as I turned towards her in my dress. "What do you think?" I asked, doing a short twirl as she clapped.
"If my brothers weren't already smitten of you, they would be now." She admitted, moving to pull her own dress on. I walked over to help her. It was nice, the feeling of having family to be near. Rebekah was the closes thing I had to any kind of family now and she was very accepting of that. Distant chatter was heard from downstairs. "I believe we should head on out." She said, twirling in her own dress now.
"You look gorgeous, Bekah." I complimented her as she smiled.
"Thank you, Frankie. Now let's go before my brothers barge in here for you." I nodded, walking out the door together and to the stairs. Looking down I noticed many people already gathering around, talking, drinking. I noticed a large table with the orange chocolate tarts on it. I shook my head as I saw Kol near it, munching on one. Rebekah walked past me, joining the party. I swallowed hard as I moved to descend the staircase. Elijah appearing at the foot of the stairs, his hand held up for me with a smile on his face.
"Frankie, you look absolutely pulchritudinous." I stared at him with a huge smile on my face.
"Elijah- Please stop reading the Dictionary.." I told him as he blushed at my words.
"Sorry- You look beautiful." He said simply. I nodded.
"And you look handsome. New suit?" I asked with a small smirk. I loved teasing this man. He made it too easy. Elijah let out a short growl, wrapping an arm around the lower part of my back and pulling me to him.
"Don't tease me, Frankie." He growled out. Tightening his grip around me.
"Hmm." I hummed with a smile. "I'll think about it." I spoke softly, reaching up to adjust his bow tie for him, before letting my hands lay on his chest gently. Elijah eyed me intensely, a smirk spreading across his face.
"Oh will you?" He questioned, putting his other arm around me. Leaning down some to hover over my lips.
"Elijah." We pulled apart to see a woman there. She looked familiar to me. I looked up to Elijah, seeing his face contort into confusion.
"Mother?" My eyes widen as Elijah uttered that word.
"And who are you?" She asked, looking at me, the look on her face was like I was trash compared to her.
"This is Francesca Kernly, our soulmate.." Elijah spoke in shock. His eyes never leaving his mother. His mother offered me a forced smile.
"Esther Mikaelson. It's a pleasure." My eyes widened at her name.
