I had stayed in my room for the rest of the night. Henrik stayed with me mostly. Elijah, Kol and Finn checking in on me, offering food and drinks. But they all got turned away. Rebekah even popped in at one point. Apparently everyone had heard me yelling at Niklaus. Even the humans. Esther was trying to get her children to get rid of me. Telling them things like I was tearing their family apart or I was an adulterous whore.
None of which worked.
A few days had gone by. Henrik had left my room to shower and change. I took this time to grab my bag and pack a few clothes and essentials. When I picked it up and grabbed my coat and keys, Elijah was at my door.
"Where are you going?" I looked up at him, my eyes red and dry from so much crying.
"I'm going home." I told him in a low mumble. He stepped into the room, walking towards me slowly as if afraid I would run.
"Frankie...this is your home." He told me. I shook my head.
"No. This is the Mikaelson's home. I'm not a Mikaelson. I'm an adulterous whore who has five soulmates, one of which actually agreed that I was a whore." Elijah widened his eyes.
"You are not a whore." He told me, his hands reaching out for my hands. I didn't stop him, as he took my keys from me. "Please don't leave us- We want you here."
"Here? What? In my room? I've been locked away in here, staying away from the Original Bitch of a witch. You brother hasn't even come in here to try to apologize. And I'm sure everyone thinks I'm insane." I told him, reaching out and trying to get my keys from him, but he pulled them away.
"Niklaus is an idiot. He's been locked in his painting room ever since the fight. My mother is- well there are no words for her. But you are not insane." I gave him a look.
"So you believe me when I tell you that your mother is the one behind Harry and his family trying to kill me?" I asked him. Elijah hesitated, his lips parted as if he was going to say something. "That's what I thought." I muttered, grabbing my keys. "Don't follow me, Elijah." I told him as I walked around him and left the room. I was lucky no one popped out as I made my way to the front door, opening it to see Rebekah. I stared at her, waiting to see if she says anything. "I'm not staying." I told her before she could say anything. She nodded, reaching out and hugging me tightly.
"Call me if you need anything. My brothers are morons." She whispered into my ear. Someone cleared their throat behind me, causing us to pull apart. I looked over my shoulder to see Esther. I looked ahead, nodding to Rebekah before walking around her and heading to my truck. Leaving as soon as I turned the key. In my rear view mirror I could see Niklaus standing in the window, just watching.

I've been in my old house for a week now. Kol has called me a few times, leaving these ridiculously long voicemails about how stupid Nik was or how much he missed me. He once even called asking how to send a dick pic, trying to get me to respond to anything. None of them knew where I lived though, which I was extremely thankful for. Although, this house had amazing memories... I was still plagued with nightmares. The only bad thing that ever happened here, my father being ripped from my life, replaying over and over again.
I had resorted to staying up late, baking. I had so many cakes and tarts and pies, just in every corner of my fridge. I taught myself how to make homemade pasta, bringing out the Italian side from my mother. Pasta laid all over, drying. Bags under my eyes showed the many nights I had lost in baking or cooking.
I had been taking baked goods to my neighbors. Offering many treats with a smile. Thankfully they all remembered me from when I lived here with my father and took whatever I offered them. Things changed though when I had an unexpected visitor. A knock on the door at an ungodly hour stopped me from mixing the batter for brownies. I opened the door slowly, peeking around to see a familiar face.
"Stefan?" I asked, staring at him shocked. He smiled at me.
"Frankie..I heard you were back in town." I raised my eyebrow at him, confused.
"From who?" I questioned, suspicious. Stefan raised his hands up.
"Okay, okay. Your friends the Mikaelsons. They've been questioning the locals on where to find you."
"And you told them?" I asked, looking around him to see if anyone was with him.
"No. But they asked the Sheriff, she told them. I'm here to warn you that they know where you are. I don't know what connection you have to them, but they have been trying to find you all week." He explained to me, my eyes looking at him.
"Well thank you for the heads up." I told him, closing the door, only for him to stop it.
"What happened, Frankie? You've changed." I shook my head.
"Nothing has changed. But I need to go to bed now. Good night, Stefan." I muttered, closing the door and locking it. A deadbolt, chain and the normal lock. I walked around the house, checking the windows and the back door. Yanking on them to make sure they were secured. Before I finally took a breath. I've been feeling paranoid all week Like I was being watched. Now I wonder if it was them watching me. But they always made me feel safe...And I did not....feel safe.
