Kol drove me to the Bennett's, thankfully Sheila was completely okay with me stay for a bit until my house was restored. It was going to take a few months because of possible weather delays.
"I'm sorry.." Kol whispered as we sat on the front porch together. He wasn't allowed in the house and I was okay with that. I looked over at him from the rocking chair I was sitting in. "I shouldn't have let Niklaus go up to you. I should have known he would ruin things with talking, he usually does."
"Kol, it's okay. I don't blame you for this. I don't really blame any of you for him. I'm sure Niklaus knows he is the only one to blame."
"So you're not done with us? With me?" Kol asked in a small voice.
"I'm not done with any of you. I just-I need a break. I need time. No one believed me, Kol.." I told him. Kol looked upset.
"I did believe you. I did." Kol snapped. I looked at him a bit shocked. "But I knew you needed to be alone. I could see you needed some space. We all did. Finn and Henrik believed you as well. Finn was the one to attack mother when he heard something happened to you." I stared at Kol as he talked, my heart warming at the thought that three of my mates believed me. Three of my mates had my back.
"So Elijah didn't?" I asked looking away. My eyes watching the cars drive by.
"Elijah-" Kol sighed. "Elijah teeters. He believes you but he wanted to believe our mother. She is our mother.." Kol explained. I nodded. Thats why Elijah had seemed so hesitant. A mothers bond with her son is hard to get between.
"So what would Nik's excuse be you think? I don't think he was close to his mother." I mentioned, looking over at him with a small smile.
"Adolescent teenager?" Kol tried, making us both chuckle. "He is moody like a teenager."

It was a few days of being here now. Bonnie gave me odd looks, probably because I have sat on the porch with Kol everyday, not to mention Finn has come by as well. Henrik is the only one allowed to come in, being that he is a warlock and not an undead vampire. Sheila actually really liked Henrik. Learning what he knew before and teaching him new stuff. I think he was coming here mostly for the magic and not me. Not that it bothered me. I thought it was cute.
Elijah came by today. Shocking all of us. I was now sitting on the porch with him.
"Frankie, I need to apologize." Elijah started, leaning on his knees as he clasped his hands in nerves.
"Go on." I urged him. Sitting in my rocking chair that I was starting to claim as my own. Elijah looked up at me, his eyes hold guilt and fear.
"I should have had your back from the beginning. You're my soulmate and I have no reason not to believe you.." He explained, looking up at my eyes.
"Elijah, Kol already explained that you believed me." I told him causing his eyes to widen.
"Kol- He explained?" I nodded.
"I understand. She's your mother. If my mother was around I would want to believe her as well. I get it." Elijah sighed in relief.
"So you'll consider coming home?" He asks, but I shook my head. Any hope he had depleting instantly. "If it's because of Niklaus-"
"No. Even if I wasn't mad at him, I wouldn't come back. I need some space right now, Elijah. I need to be able to go into a room and not think one of you are going to come barging in. Every time I turned around, one of you were there."
"We were making sure you were safe."
"I know, Elijah. I know. But I can take care of myself-" He raised an eyebrow at me. "Okay, But I live with Witches now!" I tried and he chuckled shaking his head.
"But you will come back home eventually, right??" He asked, his face going serious.
"I- I don't know. Possibly. Maybe eventually." Elijah nodded, understanding or just accepting it. I wasn't sure which.
"Oh, Niklaus asked me to give you this.." He said as he pulled out an envelope from his jacket. I furrowed my brows, accepting it from him.
"What is this?" I asked as I opened it. Reading over the paper, my eyes widening. "He didn't.." I huffed out. I went into the house, grabbing my keys. "It's time to go Elijah. Thank you for stopping by." I told him as I went to my truck and got in, leaving. The only thoughts on my mind was how pissed I was at Niklaus Mikaelson.
