Chapter XX: 2010 Are You Sure?

After boxing up the cake, we went back to my apartment. The boys were arguing who would stay with me while the other went to stay with the others in their own place. After much argument, mostly using the older brother card repeatedly, Niklaus won and got to stay with me. It felt weird that they fought for who would stay with me. We were currently in the living room, having tea.

"Nik? I need to tell you something.." I started, Nik looked up at me, putting his tea down.

"What is it, love?" He asked, turning his body towards me some.

"Elijah told me why you were after Katerina all those years.." Nik tensed slightly, his eyebrow furrowed. "She did have a child, Nik."

"No she didn't. She was turned into a vampire." He denied, shaking his head. I grabbed his hand.

"Niklaus. That night you found me with a baby.. That was Katerina's baby, not mine. I never had children in any of my lives."

"So- There could be a doppleganger?" He asked, trying to process what I was telling him.

"There is one in Mystic Falls. Her name is Elena Gilbert." I told him, releasing his hands so he could do whatever he needed to do.

"How long have you known this?"

"I watched Elena grow up, but Elijah told me the reasoning the night I first saw him in St. Louis." I admitted. Nik looked conflicted. Like he was upset- relieved.. Maybe even sad. "I won't stop you from doing what you need to do, Nik." I told him. He snapped his blue eyes to look at me. He moved closer to me, his eyes full of affection.

"Can I kiss you, Frankie?" He asked, grabbing my hand and squeezing it softly. I stared into his blue eyes, "Without being slapped this time.." He added quickly. I smiled and nodded.

"Please.." I whispered, before he weaved his hand behind my head and into my hair, pulling me closer to him as he leaned in. His lips brushed mine, the tingly warmth spreading through me just at a slight touch before he pressed his lips to mine. Neither of us moved for a second, before I leaned closer and moved my lips to his. Nik moved closer, leaning into me and pushing me back into the couch. His hand behind my head as he laid me down and hovered over me. Our lips never separating as we moved.

My arms moved to wrap around his neck, pulling him closer to me. Nik moved his hand to my side, squeezing slightly before moving past my sweater and touching my skin underneath it. I gasped slightly at the touch, tingles and heat moving through my body. Nik pulled back, taking a deep breath before opening his eyes to look down at me.

"Is something wrong?" I felt this weird feeling coming up my throat, like vomit but less disgusting. Was this rejection? Nik smiled at me and shook his head.

"I'm not pushing you into anything you aren't ready for yet, love." He explained, moving to get off of me, but I wrapped my legs around him quickly.

"What makes you think you are pushing me?" Nik stopped moving, looking down at me shock written all over his face.

"Are you sure?" He asked, as he snaps back into reality. I leaned up and kissed him, my hands in his short curly blonde hair.

"I'm sure." I mutter softly against his lips. Nik let out a low growl, flashing to stand up with me holding onto him for dear life. We moved so fast that when I landed on the plush of my bed I squealed. I let out a small giggle as Nik slips my boots off, kissing wherever he could reach. He moved up to my face, pressing his lips to mine as I moved to pull his shirt off. He pulled back to pull his shirt over his head before reconnecting our lips in a heated kiss. My hands exploring his chest. Nik's hand went to the hem of my sweater, pulling at it.

"Are you absolutely sure, love?" He asked, staring into my eyes with need and want. I sucked my bottom lip between my teeth and lifted my sweater up and over my head. I watched as Nik took a sharp breath in, his jaw clenched as he glanced down, his eyes scanning over my body. "You are divine, love." He whispered, leaning down and pressing kisses over my collar bone and neck. It felt like a feather grazing my skin, leaving goosebumps in it's wake.

"Nik.." I moan lowly, his hands moving along my torso as he trailed kisses along my body. He glanced up at me, smirking against my skin as his hands pulled at my pants. Thank god for leggings that look like leather. Nik pulled at them some more as I lift my hips up, allowing him to pull them down and off of me. His lips moving as he did, sucking and kissing at my hip bone as he slipped his fingers along the waistband of my panties. He paused when he went to pull them down, glancing back up at me.

"Are you Absolutely positive, Frankie?" He asked again, a small smile on his lips. "You won't slap me if I continue? Or kick me or anything?" I let out an annoyed huff and stared at him.

"Just touch me, Niklaus." I breathed to him. His eyes staring intently at me as his blue eyes darkened in lust. Not a second later, Nik ripped my underwear off and his mouth was lowered to my core.
