Chapter XXXVIII: 2011 Some Light Torment and Theorys

"Did you come down here to torment me? A human out of time and yet here you are.." Esther taunted. It had seemed becoming a Vampire really made her evil show full fledge.

"Hmm you would know a lot about that, wouldn't you? Didn't you die around when I did in the Viking period?" I questioned her, leaning against the opposite wall of her cell.

"Actually I died quite a while after you- I wasn't stupid enough to try and pet the wolves." She hissed. I looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"You should be thanking me." I scoffed. Esther eat out an unattractive snort at that.

"Thank you? Why the hell would I do that? You stole my sons from me. Turned them against me-"

"Oh my god. You don't know, do you? Didn't Nik tell you what happened the night I died? I wasn't just killed by a wolf." Esther snapped her eyes at me, confused. "I saved Henrik that night. A boy I had never met." Esther stood up straighter, holding her head up at this new information. "But you don't care about your sons, do you? Turn them into Vampires and then what? Did you come back to kill them? Isn't that why you wanted me gone?"

"I DO CARE!" Esther screamed, vamping to the cell bars, yanking at them. I sprayed the vervain at her, misting her face and hands and making her throw herself away from the bars. She hissed at me. "I do care. More than you would."

"I don't care? Sure, but yet you still want to kill them?" I asked, walking towards her some. My mind was working on it's own it felt like. I didn't understand what was happening. "Sounds a bit..backwards. Caring about someone and then killing them doesn't work together unless you are truly psychotic. But then again-" I looked at her with raised eyebrows.

"They don't belong here. We should have all died many years ago. Get rid of them and all the vampires are gone." Esther explained. I laughed.

"So you're talking total genocide." I said walking a even closer since she was in the shadows again.

"Didn't you want to die? The walls and floors are thin you know. I can hear it all. Like that argument you had with Niklaus.. You want to be off this planet. Permanently." I looked at her, a bit shocked that she had heard that conversation. But then again I was yelling at him. "I know how to make it permanent...if you're interested still.." Esther smirked. That I could see from the shadows.

"I-" I walked closer to the bars, thoughts going through my mind. I didn't notice when I was right in front of the cell, my hands lift to rest on the bars. As my mind turned foggy. My eyebrows knitted together as I blinked, trying to refocus my mind.

"Let's test some theory's, shall we?" Esther vamped to me, grabbing me. Her wrist in my mouth and blood flowing into my mouth as I tried to struggle. When she removed her wrist from me I let out a short lived scream and everything went dark.
