Chapter 26

*Sydney's P.O.V*

I woke up from feeling my heart empty and lonely from that weird dream. I cry silently and when I look around me, it was dark. Am I dreaming? I felt like I was on a bed but with something curl up around me. I look up and saw hair and a close face near mine. I reach my hand out and touch the forehead. It open its eyes revealing dark green snake eyes. It grab me by my hand and kissed it, I felt that hand hurt a bit.

I slowly start to remember and I held the palm of my hand. It was Adam the one that got me poison. But he didn't mean it I know that. But I have to say I'm a bit scared of him. What if he does it again and worse. I could end up dead. He smile and kiss me on the cheek.

"Good morning." He hug me.

His words warm my heart and I felt happy ignoring my thoughts, then I felt tears on the back of my shirt and my eyes widen.

"I'm so sorry." He repeated again and again.

I look at him shock and hug him and mess his hair. I smile and he broke the hug and cover his face with his hands. I grab his hands and pull them down and clean his tears. I smile and so did he but he cried still.

"It's okay it was an accident." I say.

He nod and look at me. I smile at him and I notice how close his face was to mine and my eyes widen and I push him off imidiatly. He fell off the bed and almost dragged me to him and I fell on his back.
He had a small tear and white eyes.

"That hurt." He said.

I look infront of me and my eyes widen. I saw an old man with a big mustache and next to him, a nice looking man in a tuxedo and he look at me.

"Crosby." He said.

I look at him and slowly remember. He was the man that help us yesterday.

"Is Winter dead?!" I ask imidiatly.

"Yes... He died a few days ago." The man said.

"How long was I out!?" I ask shock.

"You where asleep for three days." The man said.

"What?!" I ask shock.

"Yesss..." Adam said.

My eyes widen worried I look around and I was in a tent. I look around and stood up and look shock.

"Hey at least you woke up early and get to live another day." An old man said.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Well if you had another doctor in my place he would have declared you dead by the minute that you where given the anti poison. You see Adam's bite not only was it lethal it almost put you nearly in a coma. But since I got the antidote in time I injected into you day after day. That poison he has quickly created it's own protection to every single antidote I put on you." The old man explain.

I look at Adam and he lowered his head and look away.

"But I didn't gave up and kept trying and now your alright my dear. First by the moment he bit you he already shut you down and your heart began beating slowly and slowly making it hard to think that your alive. But if he bit someone else and it was awake he would have had hallucinations and goodness who knows." Old man says quietly thinking out loud.

I look at him and stay quiet.

"But since he suck out the poison. Don't worry his poison dosn't affect him at all. Apperently he suck out enough poison making you alive. If it wasn't for him reacting quickly you would have been a goner. But then tux injected you an anti poison from the lab Winter had." The old man said.

I look at the man in the tuxedo confused. His name is tux? I look and Adam was smiling looking at me.

"He help us remember? " Adam ask.

"Yeah... I remember a bit." I whisper.

We stay quiet and then the man named Tux broke the silence.

"We must take you to him."He said.

We look at him and the old man chuckle.

"What is it white?" asked tux.

"We should go and explain everything on owere way over there." White said.

He smile and looks at us.

"No?! Wait where are you taking us?" I ask.

"Don't worry. We will take a week with owere top secret ship." Tux said.

I look confused at Adam.

"Where are we going?" Adam ask.

"An Island not many people know." White said.

"What is it named?" I ask.

Tux look at me and at Adam.

"Humans don't even bother on giving that island a name. But a few Naga's call it Snake island." He said.

"?! Wait Naga's? " I ask.

Adam curl up around me and I remember his words from that time. "Just like the loner you are." It echoed in my head and I look down. I look at Adam and he seem nervous and looking away. I couldn't tell if he was excited or sad. I look away and decided to walk off.

"Where are you going miss Crosby? " ask tux.

"I'm going to the city. I don't want to go there. Take Adam since he wants to see his kind..." I walk off with my voice cracking a bit because of my sadness.

Adam was shocked to hear those words. I get out of the big tent and walk off to the forest. I felt as if I was lost but.... If I get lost nobody except Adam would care. I kept walking and I saw a road.

"Wait!" I heard Adam's voice.

I ignore and kept walking. I felt a hand on my arm and it's grip was tight.

"I don't want you to leave me!" I heard.

I look down at the floor and kept walking and got stop my way block by a snake tail.

"Please you must come." Adam beg.

I look down a bit sad.

"Adam.... go see your family." I said.

"No." He said.

I walk off and got hug.

"You are my family!" He said.

I stay quiet and felt tears running down my face.

"You where the first human to not torture me or say names. My mother wasn't with me. My father also wasn't with me. You are the first one I accept." He said holding my arm tightly.

My eyes widen and I look at him and smile.

"Also we could find your dad." He smiled.

"My dad?" I ask.

"Yeah! I made myself a promise that I will find your father." He smile.

I smiled looking at him.

"Then it's settled I'm going." I smile.

"Good!" A voice said.

I look back and it was the old man named White and tux behind him.

"You two where spying!" Adam hiss.

"Adam turn into your human form we are leaving imidiatly." Tux said.

Adam did as he was told and we follow them.
