"This is hilarious!" Grace almost choked on her cereals twice while Dylan was mimicking Penelope's voice. The same thing happened to me when he did it the other day."I told you he is good, girl." Olivia mumbles while she is chewing the last bite of her pancake.
Olivia, Grace, Dylan, Lucas and I are still in the dining hall, having breakfast. It's early in the morning and none of us has a class yet. The only one missing is Chase, of course. I could tell.
"I see it, Ol." Grace nods "Hey, Dylan, what's your instagram?" Grace takes out her phone. Dylan grabs her phone and starts typing his profile name. "Here, I followed me." He gives her the phone back.
"Wait, Lucas, we don't have yours." I say and he just rolls his eyes and mutters "I don't have one."
"My boy here doesn't like the idea of exposing himself on the internet, he says and I quote; it's a waste of time and a pity attempt to show off your life, and it's not even the real one usually." Dylan places an arm around his shoulders.
"He isn't wrong, though, I am not very active either." Grace shrugs.
"I am addicted." Olivia admits and Dylan high fives her. I nod my head because my relationship with social media is like theirs.
"Chase is coming!" Dylan practically screams a few moments later and I look over my shoulder to see a grumpy Chase approaching our table.
His right hand messes with his already messy hair as he is walking towards us. He looks like he just woke up and his jaw is clenched as if he is mad at something but I doubt that he is, that must be him being him.
He is wearing a black t-shirt and jeans. That fitted T-shirt compliments his body so well.
Don't stare, don't stare.
He mutters a hello and takes a seat next to Lucas, right across me "You are late, fucker, but whatever, let me introduce you Olivia and Grace." Dylan says while handing him a cup of coffee.
He looks very eager to get to know them. Note the sarcasm.
Olivia even tried to open a conversation with him but he ended it immediately and very politely.
Note the sarcasm, once again.
Then, he directs his attention to me because he notices how I tensed thanks to his way towards Olivia "Morning, Hayden." He takes the first sip of his coffee. I am impressed to say the least, that he was bothered enough to talk to me specifically.
"Morning, Miller." I take a sip of my coffee too as we keep the eye contact.
"Why are you late?" Dylan asks.
"None of your business." Chase responds annoyed. Dylans ignores his tone and continues "I called you early enough and you were already awake. I told you to not be late."
"And I ignored you." He takes a bite of the cookie he is holding unbothered.
"Are you always that rude?" I roll my eyes.
"I am usually worse." He answers, locking eyes with me. He doesn't look like he is joking.
"Of course you are." I scoff. He lets a breathy laugh unamused, shaking his head before he brings the cup to his lips once again.
Nice lips. Shut up!
I just roll my eyes again, sighing. He notices my reaction and smirks at me. That's why I narrow my eyes at him and his smirk grows bigger.
I hate that. I don't like him and I haven't even gotten to know him.

The next morning when I am heading to the last class of the day, in a total hurry, holding a very hot cappuccino. The second one of the day. Everyone who knows me is aware of the fact that the eighty percent of my body is caffeine. I am addicted to coffee, we have a love relationship for years, I can count on coffee. Coffee never disappoints me, it only makes happy.
