My first week is officially over.

It's Saturday evening and I am with Olivia, Grace and Abbey, Olivia's old roommate, at the coziest coffee shop in New Haven.

Last year, we spent most of our free time hanging out here. Gossiping, laughing, doing assignments or chatting with Katy, the owner.

We immediately fell in love with this place.

The wooden surfaces, the vintage frames on the wall, the dark atmosphere and the smell of coffee makes the place even more charming and impossible to dislike it.

Mental note to bring Dylan here, if he hasn't already been, he will love it.

They also serve the most delicious blueberry muffins, Katy's specialty. Katy is the owner of the place. A sixty years old woman with the warmest smile and the kindest soul.

I hope she is here today because I missed her.

"The coffee here never disappoints." Abbey licks her lips content after her first sip of coffee.

Since Abbey was Olivia's roommate last year, they are pretty close and good friends. She has always a smile on her face and likes to compliment people for every little thing. We call her sunshine. She also looks like one. She has blonde wavy hair and honey coloured eyes.

Me and Grace are also good friends with her, but not as much Olivia is. We all like equally to hang out with her, though.

An hour and a half passed by and we are still here.

We even saw Katy. We talked with her for a while because when she saw us, she ran to our spot, hugged us all and demanded to know how our summer was.

Now, Grace and Olivia are arguing about who is the better roommate. Suddenly, Grace stops complaining about Olivia's shoes that they are all across the floor of their room and gives me a weird glare.

"What?"

"Look who is here." She points somewhere behind me. I turn around, locking eyes with him.

Miller is here.

I narrowed my eyes at him and he flipped me off.

I did the same. The girls laughed.

"And why should I care that he is here?" I question when I turn around again, facing Grace.

"I don't know." She shrugs "Maybe you want to go there and fight a little." She smirks and Olivia starts laughing.

"I don't understand you, Grace." I shake my head slowly.

I do understand.

Every time we see each other he will say something to annoy me, I will answer back and we'll start arguing or he will just ignore me and leave. Both work for me.

Yesterday, he showed me his shitty attitude once again because he started talking with the boys about a girl he hooked up with, he couldn't believe that she simply wanted him to spend the night there after they had sex. They way he talked about her made it sound like she was nothing, that's why he pissed me off and a minute later the whole dining hall was hearing us fighting. I ended up emptying a glass of water on him.
