It's Monday morning and I am heading to Daily news.To be honest, I am really tired.
Yesterday, I spent the whole day hanging out with the girls after I left Dylan's room. I didn't go out with Max, he had to be out of town because of a family emergency.
I didn't really care that we didn't go out.
So, I ended up binge-watching old rom-coms with Dylan in my room who just got back from New York because, according to him, he had jet lag and he couldn't sleep.
He drove there.
So, he wanted company and this is why I can't stop yawning today and I bump into furnitures because I can't keep my eyes open.
"Hayden, do you wanna go back to sleep? Or even better, Cooper, why don't you bring Hayden a coffee?" Jeremy sneers as he shoots me well deserved death glares. It is not my fault that the meeting is too painfully boring and Jeremy is talking non stop for thirty minutes now.
I fight back another yawn "Sorry, Jeremy, I just-sorry, I am listening very carefully, go on!" I feel embarrassed even though I know that in a minute I will be ready to make my notes a pillow and sleep.
Chase looks too close to content by the fact that Jeremy scolded me for being ready to sleep "You should kick her out of the meeting, this behavior is extremely anti-professional." I shoot him the nastiest glare, turning my attention elsewhere.
"No, she needs to hear this. So, as I was saying, I want you to be paired at to write the articles for our next issue and I will be the one who decides the couples."
"Why you?" Brent, who sits right next to me, complains.
"Because I make the decisions around here. I have already chosen the couples and the topics you are going to write." He takes hold of a paper and starts reading it out loud.
"So let's begin, Cooper and Sanderson, arts."
"Yes!" Sophie exclaims and high-fives David.
"Harris and Keller, sports."
"Thank God!" Peter says to James.
"I wanted to be with James." Sarah Brown complains and she leans her head to James' shoulder. These two are a couple.
"Please, hold your opinions to yourselves and let me finish."
"Bailey and Woods, religion."
"Hayden and Miller, politics."
You've got to be kidding me.
I groan, closing my eyes in denial, "Fuck, not her." Chase murmurs under his breath and he looks annoyed enough from the way he stiffened when he heard our names together.
Jeremy and his stupid ideas.
When he is finally done, he gives us details about the topics we have to write and he dismisses us. That's when I head to Chase "Since I am trapped with you, I think we should start this the sooner in order to get it over."
"For once we agree, barbie. My dorm, six o'clock, bring your notes." He says quickly before he starts walking away.
"Don't call me barbie!" Is all I manage to say before he disappears.

I am heading to Chase's dorm a little late. I couldn't find my room keys so I could lock the door. I found them eventually, under my bag on the floor. I hate it when this happens, why can't they make them bigger so that we can see them easily and not lose them all the time?
