"Well, well, look who is here!" I hear someone's voice behind me and I look over my shoulder to see Peter.

Ew-

We are at a bar drinking and having fun, I suppose that he is here with friends too. I roll my eyes failing to hide my annoyance. "Hello, Peter."

Peter used to be my friend when we were kids, Colin's friend too, if I remember correctly. He is nothing like him though, he is a jerk. I stopped hanging out with him since I was seventeen I think, he changed a lot and I couldn't stand him. He also had a crush on me and he just couldn't accept that I didn't want him.

"Don't be so happy to see me, Audrey." He twirls a strand of my hair around his finger and I flinch annoyed. I see Dylan leaning and whispering something to Olivia and Chase is trying to hear what they're saying.

"I am not." I shrug my shoulders siping my tequila.

"Woah!" My answer catches him off guard. "There were times you were nicer." He winks at me and I fight the urge to spit on his face.

"What do you want, Peter?" I ask in irritation. My friends' eyes are on me. Olivia looks ready to throw hands.

"I haven't seen you for so long, I just wanted to see how you're doing." He eyes me up and down undressing me with his eyes and I feel disgusted. I am wearing jeans and a fucking top, not lingerie for God's sake.

"And what did you see?" I ask bored.

"You are prettier than I remember." He tells me but his gaze is lower and not on my face. I think I am gonna help him take a shower with my tequila.

"Thank you, you can leave now!" I fake smile but he doesn't take the hint.

"So, you won't introduce me to your beautiful friends?" His eyes fall on Gracie first, and then Olivia. Lucas tenses up just by watching him look at Grace like she's his next meal.

"No, there is no need to." I say dead serious. He probably doesn't like my answer because he grabs my wrist annoyed "I think you don't know who you are talking to-" The moment he does that the three musketeers stand up looking ready to fight.

Aw, my babies.

"Don't. Touch her." Dylan who is the closest one to him speaks, more like grits his teeth. He turns to face Dylan dropping my hand. Dylan is definitely taller and his shoulders are broader, he literally towers him. His look makes even me freeze, his golden retriever energy is nowhere to be found right now.

He has the audacity to speak again though "Why?" He asks Dylan amused. Dylan takes a step closer at him but someone else reaches our table ruining this already insufferable moment. I turn my face to my side and I see Colin.

"Why are you still here? Go back to our table, Peter." He says annoyed pushing him gently away. Peter surprisingly obeys and he starts walking away, not before he winks at us. "I am sorry, guys. I forgot his leash at home." Colin says with a serious face and we all burst into laughter.

"It's fine, just don't let him come back here again." I roll my eyes placing a hand on his shoulder "Why are you with him though?"

"He asked me to, he saw me at the coffee shop yesterday and he insisted."

"Oh I get it." I give him a sympathetic smile and he gives me one back. I literally love his smile. His teeth are perfect and he has cute dimples. Plus, when he smiles his hazel eyes look brighter.

"Well, I better go. It was nice to see you again, guys." He smiles at them and everyone, almost everyone, does the same. "Audrey, I hope we'll see you again before you leave." He gives me a quick hug.
