"Miller!" I jump on him the moment I open my door "You're here!" He hugs me tightly and I bury my face in the crook of his neck, leaving a kiss there. He was gone for the last two days. His grandfather needed him to be in New York "Missed me, Hayden?"
"Eh, long distance is hard." I break the hug, batting my eyelashes.
He starts chuckling "Long what? I was gone only for two days, dumbass."
"It doesn't matter. When did you come back?" I wrap my arms around his neck.
"Half an hour ago. I missed you too, blondie." He leaves a kiss on my nose.
"As you should." I attempt to walk away but he stops me and I end up between his arms again.
"What?" I ask him because he looks down at me, smirking.
"Go grab one of my hoodies, I have plans."
"What plans?" I ask excited.
"You will see, come on, hurry up!" He smacks my ass playfully.
"Okay, okay!" I rush into my room and I find one of his hoodies, wearing it and I also grab my bag and my phone. Two minutes later, we are leaving my room. He locks his hands with mine as we are walking to his car.
"Where are we going, sunshine?" I ask again when I get inside his car.
"Always impatient." He shakes his head amused.
"That's why you should tell me."
"Fine."
"So?"
"We are going stargazing." He turns to see my reaction when he reveals his plans. I don't say something, I just squeal excited. I love the idea. He can be such a romantic when he wants to.
We reach our destination about twenty minutes later. When I step out of the car and I realize where we are, I squeal "Miller, what!?" My smile reaches my ears and I rush to kiss him. We are both smiling like idiots against the kiss.
"Come on, follow me." He gives me his hand and we interlock fingers when he takes from the car everything we need.
I can't believe that he brought me at the beach where we kissed for the first time.
Minutes later, I am sitting between his parted legs and my back rests on his torso. He draws circles with his thumb on my arm and his free hand is wrapped around me. We are sitting on one lilac blanket he brought with him. I don't know why he owns a lilac blanket.
He also brought with him a ridiculously big amount of candies and chocolate because he knows me very well. We don't sit far away from the shore but not too close either. The sky is clear and I can see every single star up there.
The scenery is pure perfection.
I want to seal this moment in my mind forever. I feel completely content, I think I have never been more happier than I am right now.
"Why did you bring me here?" I rest my head on his shoulder.
"Because I knew you would like it. I am going to do everything to make each one of your days a little better from now on." He leaves a kiss on my temple.
"You are so sweet. I love you." I look up at him, smiling.
"I love you too. More and more every day."
"How did that happen?" I question, still smiling, though, "I mean, how things changed so much?"
"The fact that you are the most beautiful person I know, both inside and outside, helped a lot." He taps my nose, smiling.
