I don't think I want to be separated from her ever again. "I got you babe"  I say ignoring the stench surrounding us. Our reunion is cut short when a blunt force hits me over the head, taking me completely by surprise, I thought my team had secured this whole area. A loud groan leaves my body as I stumble about to lose my balance but not letting go of Azra. I cant clearly make out my attacker, not when my vision is blurred.
"Who are you? " I yell out, my one hand massaging the area I have been hit, ignoring the pain sizzling in my head.
"Raymond Fisher, am surprised to see you really soon. I guess my daughter's plan was slower than yours.". The tall broad figure I assume is Azra's captivator shows himself out to me. He's holding a baseball bat in one hand. My eyes quickly remember that face.
"You tried to rob us last week," I get angry on remembering e was the cab driver.
"Hehehe!!! Your right, that's what I wanted it to look like but I had big plans for you two. I don't know why but you always shit my plans".
"For instance.Tomorrow I was planning to ship her but you have fuckin ruined everything " he scoffs. Then it dawns me, he's the man my father described. For a split second I forgot to function.
"Now I have no choice but to deal with you too ASAP", he says raising his baseball bat again. I fumble for my gun but a stitch in time saves nine when Captain with kneads him with a stun gun  saving the day. leaving him in utter shock and incapacitated.
" Sorry to interrupt your pep talk Mr. Black Eagle but we don't have all day here" Captain says.
"Thanks Cap" I thank him trying to slowly pulling Azra out of our embrace but looks like she passed out already. The shock must be weighing heavily on her.
Azra's POV
Banging and kicks can be heard outside as they fill the air . My eyes widen with terror, so my consciousness had been right, help had come. I can't tell if it's my imagination playing tricks on me once again or if it's reality."Somebody please help me" I whisper aware that even I can't hear myself. My voice has broken down. It's now painful to put words. I can't really remember how long I have been here. Day and night seem the same in this dark room. I close my eyes, images of my parents, Leah, Christa Ray even Trevis who I can't still believe abducted me appear inside my mind. All the memories I have smiled and cried, I remember the bad and good times we shared with Ray. His ocean blue eyes. "I will always love you " I whisper grateful to have been given an opportunity to be loved and cared by some people, the joy of motherhood, having a best friend that always has your back. I will always be grateful for having people that made it all okay. I drift off slowly.
I hear someone calling out my name, my mind keeps on playing games with me. I want to go off to  a peaceful sleep never to wake up. But the voice persists. My minds tells me to listen. I slowly pick up myself. I decide that I don't care whether it's reality or insanity but somebody is out looking for me. I use the littlest energy remaining in me and crawl to the door, ignoring the sharp piercings in every part of me. I bang the door as hard as I can.
Ray, it's Ray. "Stand away from the door as far as you can".Soon enough the door loosens from its bolts and comes crumbling to the floor .BAAAM!!! It's sound is deafening,  am blinded by the light from outside but not before I spot two figures standing in front of me. Am sure it's Ray that comes running to me. I do the same and tightly embrace him never to let him go.
"Ra?, Ra?,Azra, please get up".Am being shaken awake, voices echoing through my ears. I try to utter something but my mouth cooperate, my throat burns and my whole body is desperate for hydration.
"water" I say almost in a whisper
"Get her some water, I feel a warm hand wrap around the base of my neck lifting it before cold water is poured against my mouth. I barely have enough energy to part my lips and allow it to quench the flames burning on my throat.
"wake up Ra, your alive." I can hear Ray's desperate voice calling out to me. I gasp desperate for some air.
"Christa, you have a daughter Ray" I manage to say to him and feel the energy leave my body once again.
