42. Execution

paper from the orphanage. My project was a success and now we have already started harvesting some of the vegetables. Thanks to Jenna, her dad's donation were directed to food supply and now we plan on growing more food enough to sustain the orphanage and even sell. Mr.  Moosby has allocated one of the building to be turned into a green house, The terrace was to be used too such that we can leave the compound for the kids to play. Am so grateful this turned out great. Greater than I even anticipated.
"I really can't get enough of your new hair. It's like am always looking at your double" Jenna says standing in front of me.
"Hey Jenns what have you been upto?" I say shocked to see her here, After her attempt in sabotaging my project we decided to be friends and burry the hatchet. "I was even thinking about you just now"
"Quit the lies" she says sitting opposite me. "Anyway that hair is something to die for" she compliments.
"Thanks for the compliment, and no lies. You see this paper" I raise the paper she found me reading." It's a proposal to expand the project and grow more food crops and vegetables, all thanks to you convincing your dad to donate" I say to her.
"Am glad my selfish reasons ended up with a positive impact" she replies and we both laugh.
"So what brings you here?" I ask her once again cause the last time I checked she and Kevin were no longer an item.
"Am here to see the owner of this place who also happens to be my.... " she's cut off by Kevin's voice. "Hey babe, you finally made it" Kevin says.
"No way!!" I say shocked looking at the love birds in front of me. "I thought you guys were so over like last year"
"Well, at first it was like that but after Jenna replanted your garden I figured out she was a bad hearted person. She was only trying to avenge for her friends. So I gave her a second chance" Kevin answers planting a peck on her chick.
"Won't that be a lovely story to tell our children" Jenna also adds in and I couldn't agree less. "Have you talked to Ray one of these days. He is not himself" Kevin changes the subject giving me a worried look.
"I don't know if I want to talk to him yet, he's the one who brought another woman and then told me I was a mistake" I say anger rising up.
"I think you should hear him out, he must have had a good reason for what he did."  Jenna sighs "Ray is a good person and loves you so much" she says to which I shake my head . They are just sugar coating the devil that he is.
" I really can't help him any longer. He always comes back to our room drunk. It's becoming unbearable Azra" Kevin confesses.
"What do you mean coming back to your room. I thought he lived with childhood engaged fiancee and his wife to be" I say shocked at this revelation.
"I think you should listen to him out, but the fact is that he has never slept in tat apartment ever since you left" Kevin says.
"I see." I say not sure what to add on. " could you please pack for me six doughnuts, I need to get going" I say to Kevin. I pull out the money from my wallet but Jenna stops me. "No Azra, this will be on me" she says. I hesitate for three seconds and put the money back in the wallet.
"Thanks you guys for everything" I say to both of them. Kevin calls a waiter and he gives him my order. Few minutes later I bid them goodbye and head home. I have a date to the movies later with Matt and I  need to prepare an outfit early.
Ray's POV
I had texted Sasha earlier that am taking her out on a date and all she replied was "K".This babe is really not into me. Neither am I so I can't wait to end everything tonight for once and for all. I tell her to be ready by 7:30pm. I pray this goes as planned and open the door. On seeing me, she switches off the TV and grabs her purse and we leave.
"You look great" I say meaning it, she's really smart. Sasha is a beautiful woman, only that her beauty doesn't capture my eyes. Her maroon dress with a gold lace upwards has brought out her body shape very well.
"Thank you" she manages to reply.
Moments later we walk into Dortmund restaurant. I inform the waiter about our reservation and he walks us to our table. "Thank you Nelson" I say to him having read his name tag.
"A pleasure to serve your sir and madam" he politely replies as he pours us wine.
"Do you like this place?" I ask the awfully quiet madam accompanying me tonight. She hasn't said anything since we left the apartment. On the way she came scrolling through her Instagram. On parking the car,  she handed me her phone to take  pics of her and I obliged.
"Yaaa, the place is exclusive. Even the wine is....." she stops her sentence midway and turns her around to see the guy quarreling in Spanish on the table opposite us. I grin widely cause everything is going as planned
"Eso es trampa, no puedo soportarlo!!" he shouts angrily beating his fist on the table and gets up.
"It is Pedro!" Sasha abandons her wine and seat at a lightening speed and stops the guy leaving the restaurant angrily.
"Pedro wait!" she calls out, half excited, half anxious.
"Mi amor!" he turns around and says her,"what are you doing here?" he asks her with his strong Spanish accent.
"Weellll, am here for some......"she starts looking for an excuse to give him.
"Hi babe, who's this we have here" I come to stir the show.
"Mi amor, this is Raymond Fisher, he is my friend" she introduces me to her boyfriend. "Raymond, this is Pedro Manuelo, the man I love so much."
"Nice to meet you sir" I say shaking hands with him.
"Nice to see you too" he replies.
"Raymond! Sasha!" our dads call us respectively startling us.
"Dad!" we respond at the same time.
"Well as you can see your attracting attention in the restaurant so we came to see what could be wrong." Sasha's dad responds and mine nods in agreement. That's when we realize that everyone around has their attention on us.
"Why don't we all seat down and not cause commotion" I suggest and we move to the table our dads were seated earlier on. "We were here on a date and Sasha noticed a friend of hers so she rushed to go see him" I elaborate
"His fiance" Pedro corrects me. Our dads all shift their attention to the stranger before them.
"But we were here discussing Ray and Sasha's marriage plans," Mr. Jimmy Elle says.
"Enough dad!" Sasha shouts. "I don't love Ray dad! Pedro is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with." she holds his hand to confirm. "I only agreed to come here so I get to know Ray. He is a wonderful guy but not for me."she says and the whole time am grinning internally while keeping a confused face on the outside.
"But...." her dad is shocked at her daughter's confession.
"No buts dad, if you don't approve of our love. Am going to elope with him and you will never see us again" she says "Pedro in fact let's get out of here while it's still early" she grabs his hand and they leave the restaurant helter skelter.
"My princess wait" Sasha's dad says while running after them.
"Dad! What's going on?" I assume a serious face when am left with my father on the table.
