The long awaited day in the summer finally came. Leah and I had a twin wedding. It wasn't intentional but it so happened that we were tired of arranging two weddings that were one week apart. In the end we saved ourselves lots of costs and our mutual guests were more relieved. The result was breath taking. We had promised ourselves that we would be each others brides' maids though it never occurred to us that we would walk down the isle each in a white gown our Father's arms entangled in ours. Kevin was Ray's bestman, while Austin had his workmate Josh. The bridesmaids were peace, Leah's cousin and Jenna.  Chole and Christa were obviously the flower girls. These two girls adore each other like they were from the same umbrical cord. Chloe looks out for Christa while the later always wants to always be like the former.
Fate has been good to us so far, I said I do to the love of my life and Leah to her childhood sweetheart and crush. Love is not always a bed of roses but being happy is what matters in everything. Honeymoon in the Maldives was always the dream and I was glad our hubbies didn't object. "Aaaaah" we both shout as our husbands splash water on us. "Join us in" they say but  we shake our heads rejecting us.  "Not now, we're still back biting you guys" Leah says and we burst out laughing. Defeated, they go back to playing with the water. Austin and Ray are getting along quite well, they have been friends but not so close as now. I guess us being together puts them in an equal position too.
"This still feels like a dream Leah" I say to my bestie equally wiping her body.
"I know right! I still don't believe it too." she responds lying on her back again. Few months later her tummy is starting to show and looking at her now, I couldn't help reminiscing on the day when Christa asked her why her stomach was big and Leah told her the baby is growing inside and that she will equally love her like she loves chrsta. Christa looked so confused on hearing that and then asked her God mother "Then why did you eat her?" Leah couldn't stop staring at the kid asking something like that.  She had no answer for her of course. Christa and Chloe stayed with their respective grand parents though Jenna and Kevin take turns checking on them when they are not running their restaurant. We miss them all but we have memories to make here.
"You know one thing I don't regret Az" Leah says not looking up from her vogue magazine.
"What's that Lee?" I ask her.
"Waiting to go to campus with you" she confesses.  "Everyone told me of how I shouldn't live my life according to yours but am glad their words entered in one ear and came out from the other." we laugh at the joke and am about to hug her and tell her how glad I am to always have her iny life when I see two girls swimming close to our men. Am so glad you did that, but now it's not the time cause I see some models swimming next to our hubbies." I say and Leah immediately sits up noticing what I saw. She abandons the magazine, " I didnt feel like the water yet but I will not sit and watch those frogs go anywhere near our water lilies" she says getting up and we swim to the rescue.
