I sat down underneath a large willow tree in my dream. The tree's leaves were a beautiful green, and the wind blowing the leaves made the scene all that more pretty. The tree was slumped over a bit, and it seemed as if it were tired. The grass underneath me was shaded by the tree's leaves. It was cut low and soft, and no blade of grass pricked my underside.

I leaned against the tree to relax a bit. It was warm in the dream, with a slight breeze, making it perfect weather. (Sorry if you prefer a different type of weather, I just went for a mediocre scene fhkads) I heard a few footsteps to my left, but didn't bother to turn my head to look. It was either Dream or Nightmare, though I wouldn't think Dream would come back to my dreams after the past events.

I heard someone snicker next to me. This time I turned my head to see who it was. It was Nightmare to no surprise. I watched as he leaned against the tree instead of sitting down on the grass.

"I'm glad you didn't bother trying to keep me awake." I shifted downwards, somewhat laying against the tree instead.

"Be lucky I didn't decided to just give you nightmares." His words seemed to remind himself of the ability he had. A sadistic grin grew on his face, as if he was going to now give you nightmares. I had a small pleading expression on my face, hoping he wouldn't choose to give me nightmares.

Nightmare had started to become kinder to me, but for what reason. I could ask him about this along with some questions about the battle. I sat up straighter, and Nightmare turned his head to me noticing my action.

"I have uhm...a few questions if you don't mind me asking." I suddenly felt more nervous. I wasn't completely sure on asking him these questions, but they needed to be answered. Nightmare had a brow raised in my direction, awaiting the questions. I took a deep inhale and got ready to ask away.

"The first few questions are about the battle." I choked a bit in the middle of the sentence. Nightmare became a little tense, and the dream became a little colder. "What's yours and Dream's relationship with each other?.." I held my hands in front of my and played with my fingers. I was afraid he would just skip the question entirely.

I heard him sigh and he looked over at me. I turned to him with a little bit of a nervous look. "He considers us brothers. I consider him more of an enemy than a brother." Nightmare had his arms crossed. It was no surprised that they were siblings. They were polar opposites, and it wasn't an unlikely thing to be your sibling's opposite.

"I figured a bit." I smirked a bit. Nightmare dipped his head down a bit. He waited for my next question.

"What exactly...even happened?" I looked up at Nightmare. I had tried to stay away from the battle the entire time, but some times it was impossible to not look. Nightmare raised a brow, as if wanting something more specific, but he still gave an answer.

"Well. I fought Dream, while Error took care of Ink and Swap. The yelp that you probably heard was me impaling Dream. He was lucky enough to get away and heal rather quickly." Nightmare scoffed at Dream healing himself. He seemed like he wanted the positive being dead. Which was understandable in his situation. He was a negative being, Dream a positive one.

I nodded at his words. I expected it to be Dream. Though I still did feel a bit bad. I didn't know their past and backstories, which is why I probably shouldn't feel bad. I didn't sigh out loud. I turned my head to the ground and continued to play with my thumbs.

"Just a random questions. Why are you so nice to me? You're supposed to be negative right?.." I stayed looking at the ground, but I had a small smile on my face out of confusion. Nightmare didn't seem to be expecting such a question.
