The fact that Nightmare either trusted you enough to bring you here, or he was just crazy. The people that had walked into the room were also skeletons. They all were vastly different in appearance, even though they all had the same body type. They each entered one by one, and stood in a vertical line facing you. Nightmare cleared his throat and began to talk.

"As you all know, I've been spending time getting more negativity." He started, glancing to you now. "This human here has been my source." He turned his eye lights back to where the others were. You started to think as Nightmare continued to introduce you. Nightmare hadn't really been trying to get negativity from you. Was he just now spending time with you because he liked your presence? You continued to ponder before Nightmare said something you didn't quite catch. You snapped back into reality.

"Now. Y/N. You'll at least need to know their names." He pointed to the others. "But you won't be staying here for long." Nightmare dropped his arm to his side. You were assuming you would have to at least know their names for when he mentions them, or if you do come back. Nightmare probably just wanted to introduce you to the others so they knew why Nightmare had been gone.

You straightened your back as you awaited for the others to introduce themselves. They all didn't seem fond of you whatsoever.

(I've introduced these characters in other books abt 5 times I'm not doing it againfdjkas. The characters here are just Horror, Dust, Killer, and Error)

They all had quite interesting names to say the least. The names had all fit them of course, but they were still strange. You waited for Nightmare to bring you two back to your home. He seemed satisfied that you at least knew their names, and who they belonged to. Now he could freely talk about them if needed. You did however remember Error from the night at the café.

Nightmare latched onto your arm with a tendril and dragged you into a portal. It was normal for Nightmare to drag you around places now, so you didn't mind. You waited for Nightmare to let go of you, so you could fall over. But that never happened. He waited for you to stand up right before letting you go. He really had changed from the first time you met him.

You held back a faint smile and watched Nightmare walk off into the living room. You and Nightmare just lounged around your house for the rest of the day, Nightmare occasionally poking at you to annoy or anger you. After a while, you had thought of something. Nightmare always had that black substance around him. You wondered what it was, and if it came off. You were going to try and get it off. You got up from where you were sitting and Nightmare glanced at you, with an eyebrow raised. You dashed into the kitchen to look inside your cleaning closet. You grabbed a sponge. You at least wanted to try and figure out how to wash him before you actually went all in.

You ran the sponge under some water, and hid it behind your back as you walked back into the living room. Nightmare had stood up to go see what you were doing, but you came back just in time. He had an eyebrow raised as you walked back into the room. You walked over to him, and he didn't even try to move.

You then quickly jumped at him, Nightmare didn't have time to react since he hadn't tried to move away from you. You pinned him to the floor. You sponge was in your right hand, while you had your leg pinning Nightmare's arms down, and you sitting on his stomach area. He was kicking his legs but that didn't affect anything. You didn't even think about his tentacles though. You scrubbed at his skull a few times before he started to screech. You covered your ears, and you shifted back a little bit. Nightmare's arms came out from under your legs. He latched onto your with his arms and he rolled to the side. He was now pinning you to the ground.

There was heat rushing to your face. From the fact that Nightmare was on top of you and from embarrassment, as you hadn't even washed a simple drop off his skull. You laid there in shock. You couldn't really comprehend what had just happened, but you did know you failed. You face was a pinkish color, but Nightmare didn't seem to notice. His eye sockets were narrowed looking at you, and he had a frown on his skull. He was clearly angry and annoyed.

You gulped and gave a small smile. Nightmare started to lift you, for a second you thought he would have let you go, but instead you felt your back hit the wood floor. You coughed from the pain, and the fact that you had the wind knocked out of you. Nightmare did this a couple times, his grin widening each time. You were in pain.

After the 8th time you hit the ground, you latched onto Nightmare's arms, and pulled your head up. You accidentally bumped heads, but at least it stopped him from slamming you into the ground. You heard Nightmare grown. His eye socket shot open, and the eye light was glowing brightly. You felt fear take over you. You felt something wrap around your neck, and you were lifted off of the ground. You kicked your feet as you were struggling to breathe. You tried to punch whatever was wrapping around your neck, but it did nothing. Before you passed out you saw Nightmare's face. He had a sadistic grin and his eye light wasn't glowing as much anymore.

You eventually passed out.

...

You gasped for air as your sat up in your bed. You felt a sweat bead roll down your forehead. You frantically looked around your room and saw Nightmare sitting on your bed reading. You let yourself fall back onto your bed. Nightmare seemed to only just now realize you were awake. You were just now staring at the ceiling. You felt the weight of the bed lighten as Nightmare got up. You shut your eyes and exhaled. You then felt something smack you across the face. You shot your eyes open and looked to the side of the injured cheek. Nightmare was standing there, one of his tentacles retracting back into his back.

"I deserve that." You sheepishly said. You heard Nightmare snicker.

"You really did." He replied. He turned back around and sat on your bed, this time closer to your feet, making you curl up into a ball. Nightmare seemed to notice this so he moved up more. Your knees were practically in your face now. Nightmare had that sadistic grin on his face again. Apparently seeing you annoyed was a treat to him.

You sighed in annoyance and turned your head to face the others way. You read your clock and it said 8:45. You should probably go to sleep. You have to go into work tomorrow. You snuggled into your bed more than you already were. You were about to fall asleep when you felt something cold touch your back. It was Nightmare.

He had decided to lay down so he could relax better, but he accidentally touched you. You shivered and he seemed to notice. He then put his hand on your shoulder, causing you to become colder. You went to push his hand off your shoulder, but he latched onto you harder. You tried to fall asleep but you just couldn't. You eventually turned your head to look at Nightmare. Nightmare had seemed to be asleep, but you knew he wasn't. You still believed it anyways. You turned your head back around and fell asleep. You had a bad feeling arising in you. You just didn't know what this feeling was towards.
