"What're you doing here Error." I cut Y/N off. Error had turned his gaze over to me and away from Y/N.
"Thought I'd check in on ya. You haven't been to the castle in a bit." Error manifested a few strings in between his fingers to occupy himself with as he spoke.
I rolled my eye light and stared at Error, waiting for him to gaze back up at him. Once he did, I shoed him away with a had gesture. I he looked down to his strings with a sadistic grin. Oh what could he be planning now.
"How about no. The others had a few things to discuss to you about." Error continued to look up at me, and then quickly staring at Y/N for a second, who was paying more attention to the kittens on the ground.
"Very well then." Error continued to stare at me, and then I gazed over to Y/N out of the corner of my eye, and tilted my head in her direction quickly. I was trying to single to Error to either keep an eye on them, or leave.
He opened a portal in front of me and left it open for me to enter. I entered the portal and watched as Y/N disappeared from my vision.
Y/N POV:
I had barely been paying attention to Error and Nightmare's conversation. I was too busy staring at the kittens and watching them play with each other. I continued to not pay attention to Error, who was looking over me now.
"What's so special about you?" I looked up at Error and he was staring down at me, with an eyebrow raised.
"What?" I scooted back more into the couch, uncomfortable at how close Error had gotten. He had only just now realized how close he was, and crashed. It only lasted a few seconds, and once he returned back to reality, he continued to stare at me, about to answer my question.
"Never mind what I said." He stood straight up and backed far away from the couch. I sat there for a few seconds, staring back at him. I eventually turned my gaze to the kittens, clearly uncomfortable.
I continued to look at the kittens, and Error watched me. I eventually stopped paying attention to Error, and focused completely on the kittens. Pitch and Cross had tried to distance themselves from the other kittens, while the rest of the group continued to pester Pitch and Cross.
Pitch hissed at Rain, and Rain shot backwards away from Pitch. Pitch started running after Rain. The two ran in circles around the edge of the caged in area in the middle of the living room. The other kittens stood and watched the two run around for who knows how long.
"Heh. Now I see." Error spoke suddenly, making the kittens stop in their places.
"And what exactly do you see?" I sat up and stood up from the couch.
"You. You showed human kindness no matter the way he acted or looked. You allowed him to stay with you. That's why he cares for you as much as he does." Error had himself lifted into the air by his blue strings, staring down at me.
I sat there in silence with a puzzled expression placed on my face. Could this truly be the reason? Over the past few weeks of him visiting me non stop, he did seem to care for me a bit more. I bit my bottom lip and turned away from Error. It seemed likely true, but a part of me fought against it. It didn't seem likely in another sense.
'He only wants negativity' is what a part of me repeated to myself. It was hard to choose whether what Error said what right, or wrong to me. It seemed more likely that the first option was true, so I followed along with that one.
"He- What?" I sat up more in the couch, and Error scoffed at my reply.
"I said what I said. He clearly cares for you. Though I'll never truly understand like he does." Error played with the strings in his hands for a little longer before letting them disappear. He turned his head to the spot where Error had previously opened his portal.
