Stuck Together (Nightmare!Sans x Reader)

Chapter 9 - Kitten Cuddlier

I woke up to something nuzzling my cheek. It wasn't cold, so it couldn't have been Nightmare poking at me. It was most likely one of the kittens.

I opened my eyes to see the kitten with spots on them nuzzling my cheek. I giggled a bit and sat up. The other kittens were laying at the end of the bed. Some were play fighting. I smiled at them. They seemed happy, and that made me happy to.

I quickly turned to see if Nightmare was still laying down. He was, and he had his eye socket closed. His facial expression was tensed, considering the amount of positivity in the room.

I dropped my smile and tried to be a little less positive if that was even possible. I sat up more and sat criss-crossed on top of the blankets. I saw Nightmare open his one eye socket. I had been staring for a little too long so I quickly turned my head to the side.

I hopped off of my bed. The kittens looked to be curiously and started meowing. They all walked to the edge of the bed, waiting for me to pick them up and set them on the ground. Nightmare was just staring at the bunch waiting for something to happen.

I picked each kitten up one by one and sat them back in the cardboard box. I didn't want to lose any of them while I went out to buy some things for them.

I grabbed f/c t-shirt and another pair of black pants. I then grabbed a quick s/f/c (second fav color) hoodie. Nightmare continued to lay on the bed. He seemed to be lost in thought.

I made my way over to him to get his attention, so I could change. He didn't react to me waving my hand in front of his face, so I resulted to physical things. I tapped him on the shoulder and that knocked him out of his thoughts.

"Can you leave the room so I can change?" I stood there waiting for him to get up. He nodded and then sat up, sliding off the bed. He didn't even bother walking out of the room, he just teleported.

I sighed and walked back over to the clothes I picked out, and changed into them. I placed my uniform on my bed. I'd get the two pairs of clothes when I got home.

I gave each of the kittens a goodbye pet and started out of my bedroom door. Nightmare was waiting outside of my room for me.

"I'm going out to get some supplies for the kittens. If you want to tag along you can." I put my hands in my pockets and waited for him to respond.

"I wouldn't mind coming along. I'd like to see you fail at getting items, and I could do some more productive things while outside of your home." He gave a small sadistic smile in return. I narrowed my eyes at him, showing I was annoyed, but I also had an eyebrow raised showing curiosity.

He chuckled at my facial expression and then grabbed my arm. The sudden movement made me jolt. Nightmare then teleported us to a pet store.

We arrived and a few people jumped at us appearing, while others jumped at the sudden negativity. Everyone was looking at us now. I felt a little panic rise in me. I hated people staring at me. And everyone was staring.

I shook my head, then took a deep breath, trying to calm myself. Nightmare seemed to notice. He moved his grip up to my shoulder, but it was a relaxing one. He was facing the other way looking at a dog bed.

"Do you see something for the kittens?" I raised an eyebrow as he turned back to face me. He responded with an 'mhm'.

"Alright, what do you see? Take me to it." I waited for him to lead me to the item he had been staring at. He dragged me quite a bit away from where we had teleported, but we eventually got there.
