"That's none of your damn business." He growled at Killer. Killer's prideful grin turned into a frown. I was intrigued for what Nightmare's answer would have been, but I guess I'd have to wait.

"What a bummer." Dust began to pull something out of his pocket. It was a small piece of folded paper. Dust reached over the table and handed the piece of paper over to Nightmare. He opened the paper and began to read. I tried to peak around to see the writing, but I wasn't able to move thanks to one of Nightmare's tendrils.

Nightmare's eye sockets shot wider. His facial expression changed to a shocked and angered one. He snapped his head over to Dust's direction, who was laughing with Killer. Nightmare's tendrils creeped more out from behind his back, and the one keeping me from seeing the paper had moved away. I got a small peak at the paper.

"K-I-S-S-I-N-G" was the only thing I could read on the paper. Since the past question was about me and Nightmare, I started to blush a bit. I turned away from the paper as quickly as I could. Nightmare seemed to notice. He then gripped the paper and crumpled it. He let out a sigh and his tendrils calmed down.

"Fine. I consider them company." Nightmare crossed his arms. Dust and Killer had wide grins on their faces. They quite enjoyed Nightmare's struggles.

"Did you pressure him into answering the question with a threat." I let my face relax, and form into a bit of an annoyed expression. Killer's grin faded a bit, while Dust's widened more.

"Precisely." He responded with a finger gun. I rolled my eyes and reached out for the paper Nightmare had crumpled. Nightmare tried to prevent me from grabbing it, but he failed. My hand was wrapped around the paper, and his hand was wrapped around mine. He brought our hands up and tried to open my hand to get the paper out. I tugged my hand away from his and pulled open the paper.

I read through the note. It was one of those '"Name" and "Name" sitting in a tree' love lullaby's. I felt my face burn a bit. I moved my eyes down to the bottom of the page, and it said it was signed by Dust, Killer, and Horror. They were just joking around right?

I looked up from the paper. Killer and Horror were laughing, while Dust was holding in a chuckle. Nightmare's eye socket held no pupil. It was pitch black and empty. I felt shivers crawl up my spine. It was intimidating.

I placed the paper on the table with a confused expression. "Let's just- forget about this?.." I slid the paper off the table as if it had never been there. I then looked over to Nightmare who was looking at me. "Agreed." His voice showed confidence. I wanted to make sure what I suggested didn't hurt him if the paper was true. I wouldn't dare try anything to mentally or physically hurt Nightmare. Our relationship had come too far, and I considered him a friend, maybe more.

What a stupid thought to consider him more than a friend though. He was basically made of negativity. There was no way he could feel love, or happiness. Though his actions towards me say otherwise. I snapped back into reality as Nightmare tapped my nose.

"Are you back from la-la land?" Nightmare had a joking tone. I nodded, still looking off into space. I wasn't completely listening to him, but I at least knew the main thing he said.

I blinked a few more times and I was now back to reality. Nightmare was sitting silently staring at me, while Dust, Horror, and Killer were laughing at Nightmare. Cross was asleep in the corner of the booth, and Error had left a while ago.

I looked over to the clock on the wall, it read 8:20. Some time bad passed since I last checked the clock. I should have probably been cleaning up the shop for closing time, but I didn't care. I enjoyed spending time with the gang.
