"Say Law, what do you think these symbols mean?" I ask as I point to the intricate scriptures embedded into the weathered stone.
"I'm not sure... this island obviously shows that there was life here. But it seems it's been many decades since then." He mumbles as he looks up.
It's going on our third day on the island and it has been absolute bliss... However Law and I both know there's a voice nagging in the back of our minds, telling us that maybe we should venture out to find the crew. Within the vast jungle, we've came across various ruins and by noon we stop at what appears to be a village. My hand brushes across the engravings and I wish in someway my knowledge stretched farther than that of just medicine and botany. My mind thinks of the Straw-hats, and I remember Robin telling me she was a historian of sorts... Unfortunately, we didn't have much time for me to get well acquainted with the Straw-hats, but I can't help but think it would be fun to learn from her. I smile at the thought as Law wraps his arms around my waist from behind and he smiles.
"What are you smiling about?"
"Just thinking. I wish I studied more in history or languages... What if these text lead to something?" I beam and he grins.
"Hmm... It would be nice if it led to some treasure." He grins and I laugh.
"Like you ever really cared about that..." I grin and he chuckles.
" I'm a pirate, aren't I?" He rumbles as I feel his warm breath brushes over my shoulder, and my skin tingles. "Although, I think I'd rather do something else than finding treasure..."
He starts leaving light pecks along my shoulders and up to my neck. I feel Heat rush up to my face, burning my cheeks and ears as he does this, and our eyes meet. Again he has that predatory gaze in his silver hues, and upon my reaction he grins, causing my heart to race. Gently his hands slide down and I squeak in surprise as he lifts me into his arms. I wrap my arms around his shoulders as he has me straddling him, I wasn't sure what to do as I can only remain speechless in my flustered state and he licks his lips.
" I'd rather see what other cute expressions you can make." He purrs and he captures my lips before I can say anything.
Little by little, I feel like I'm melting as he kisses me deeply and slowly walking to a patch of soft grass and moss. Gently, he lies me down as he hovers over me. Breathless, he pecks my lips again, and his hands begin to slide under my shirt and up my waist.
"I love you, (y/n)-ya... Is it alright?"
"Law, I-"
Suddenly there was a loud almost nasal rumbling that stopped us dead in our tracks. We look to the side, at a large tree root, there was a tuff of green moss poking out where the noise was coming from. Swaying ever so slightly with each snore, the tuff of moss moved and Law's face drops as an annoyed sigh escapes his lips. My eyes widen as suddenly, the sound of a stampede comes barreling towards us as the ground began to tremble.
"ZORO!!!! WHERE YOU AT?!?!"
I look up and in an instant, a flash of red and yellow knocks Law off of me and lands in a cloud of dust. I sit up in astonishment as my shirt slides back down my waist.
"L-Luffy?!" I gasp and as the dust settles, Luffy sits up and beams as he raises his hand.
"Yo, (y/n)! Long time no see!"
"Get off me!" Law yells as he pushes Luffy off of him, and quickly I get up to help him to his feet.
"What are you guys doing here?! I would think you guys would be ahead of us!"
"Oh! We stopped for a break!"
" Could you have taken your break somewhere else? Plus, did you not see the Sea King?"
