It took a moment before I could hear Law steadily following behind me as I ran for the bedroom to hide it. I needed it to be somewhere I could easily reach and keep an eye on. My eyes look to the bookshelf where there were a bunch of large medical books Law hardly goes through and I smile, remembering him saying that he's already memorized them when he got them a long time ago. Swiftly I grab the books, and place my sketchbook amongst them before making sure they were all aligned and organized as close to how they were prior.

"Best place to hide is in plain sight." I whisper to myself with a grin and I run towards the bathroom to hide as I hear Law's footsteps inching closer.

I hide in the shower/tub after leaving the door barely cracked behind me. Closing the curtains, I sink into the tub and I suck in a breath as I hear the door creak open. It didn't matter if he finds me, as long as he thinks I tried to hide it somewhere else, that's all that matters... A mischievous grin pulls at the corner of my lips as I was starting to find this rather amusing.

"Y/n-ya... You know you can't hide from me." He said and I kept quiet, my resolve turning into a little game of cat and mouse.

"You know... I never did give you that punishment from when we left Wano. Surrender now with the book, and I might just forget about it."

I freeze at his tempting offer... but ...

'No, no, no, no! This is worth it! It has to be a surprise, no matter what!' I reason as I shake my head.

Everything was silent, and I wondered just what he was planning. I listen closely to any sounds, whether it be the creaking floorboards or a door, but there was only silence. I pondered if maybe he found my book, or if maybe he decided to look somewhere else and I glance at the shower curtains, contemplating my next move. Letting my curiosity beat the best of me, I slowly shift to peak through the curtains. I stifle a scream as my heart nearly jumps out of my chest as I stare up at the grinning raven demon.

"Too bad... I won't show you any mercy..."

My scream rips throughout the ship as I shut my eyes and suddenly something cold falls on me.

"Cold! Cold! Coooollld!!!" I cry as freezing water falls from above and soaks me to the very bone.

Frantic, I jump to my feet only to slip and fall forward, crashing into Law as the curtains are ripped from the railing. Instinctively arms wrap around my torso and a hand shields my head as we land abruptly. I shiver at the cold air and I frown as I push up.

"Dang it, Law! You know I hate cold water! Jerk!" I roar as his hat covers his eyes but his devilish grin still remains.

He frees his hand to push back his fuzzy hat and looks back at me in amusement. "I told you, I wouldn't show mercy."

I shiver at the cold air and I sit up, wrapping my arms around me in a feeble attempt to retain any body heat. My hoodie clinging to me and my teeth chattering as Law finally gives me a soft smile and sits up to brush my wet hair from my face.

"Meanie... Stupid doctor." I mutter and he chuckles.

"So I guess you won't show me that drawing?"

"No! Especially now! Stupid doctor..." I growl and I turn away from him. "So childish... It's a surprise, so of course you can't see it! Dummy!"

"... Oy y/n-ya... I'm sorry okay? Don't be too mad." He hums softly and he wraps his arms around me and kisses the crook of my neck.

As much as I didn't enjoy his little punishment... truthfully, I prefer this over being shambled. But...
