karina | sleep tight

"are you going to sleep?" you asked your girlfriend, karina who turned the light on the nightstand off.

"mhm" she hummed and tugged herself under the blanket. the weather that night  was different from every other night. it was chilly, a weather where you want to really cuddle up under the blanket with someone while telling them how much you love them.

karina turned her body facing you, admiring your features from how well your eyebrows are shaped, down to your plumpy lips. a smile plastered on her face as she admire every single detail of you.

"stop staring, you're making me nervous" you let out a small chuckle. karina laughed and softly pushed the phone you're holding down, signaling you to stop playing on your phone and pay attention to her. you turned your phone and the lights off before turning your body towards her.

"you're still nervous around me?" she smiled, honey dripping out her eyes as she looks at you.

"who wouldn't? it's the yoo jimin we're talking about here" you said as she gently smacks your shoulder.

"oh my god for real stop it" she blushed pulling the blanket all the way up to cover her red tomato face. she then rolled herself so close to you, hugging you.

"let's sleep" she said.

"that's one way to change the topic" you said earning a glare from karina. she then adjusted her position and lays her head on your shoulder. silence hit the both of you, as you looked down and noticed that karina is already closing her eyes.

you adjusted the blanket and made sure she was warm and comfortable. your eyelids grew heavier as minutes pass. you feel yourself drifting into dreamland and you let yourself relax.

"ugh" you opened your eyes as you let out a grunt. you dont feel karina on you anymore and you were freezing cold. you turn your head to her side and saw karina hogging all the blanket.

you tried to pull some of the blanket but she wrapped her whole body with it, making it hard for you as you don't want to wake her up.

you got up and went to the wardrobe, opening every drawer and rumagging through everything trying to find an extra blanket. but unfortunately there was none.

you sighed and went back to the bed. you hated to do this but you gently shook her body to wake her up.

no response.

your rubbed her shoulder trying to wake her up in the most gentle way but she was dead asleep. light snores could be heard from her

"jimin-ah" you gently called as you shook her body. she lets out a soft hum, making you feel bad that you're interrupting her sweet sleep.

"honey you're hogging all the blanket" you shook her body gently yet again. no response. you sighed and sat in silence staring at the wall thinking of a way to warm up.

10 minutes passed and you're shivering like crazy. you scoot closer to her and hug her from behind, trying to transfer some of her warmth to your body but it just wont work.

"jimin-ah.."

she then started moving her body under the blanket. you stayed silent, as you already gave up in trying, you then saw her head popping out from the blanket.

"im cold" you said lifeless. just trying to get under the blanket and warm up your body

"hm?" she hummed, still not getting the idea of what you're trying to say. you decided to pull the blanket from her slowly.

as expected, you failed. you did not want to bother her sleep because you knew how tired she was and with you waking her up right now might disturb her sleep.

you gave up and decided to just stay close to her and hug her from behind. just as you were about to fall asleep you feel someone putting blanket over you.

"im so sorry i hogged the blanket" karina said, very softly as she's still half awake. she turned her body towards you and hugged you.

suddenly, you heard a soft giggle from karina.

"you were so cute though, i am going to hog the blanket again so that you would stick to me like a gum" she chuckled. you lightly smacked her shoulder making her laugh.

"and when i hog the blanket first?" you said pulling the blanket away making karina shriek as the cold air made contact with her skin. you laughed and gave her the blanket back, she's already sticking to you like a gum.

the both of stayed like that for a while before drifting off to dreamland. you pat karina to sleep, and heard soft snores coming from her that made you smile.
