winter | only look at me

the cold settled down as night was brought upon the four newly debuted idols. after so much hard practice the girls wanted to relax, and what could be more better than a horror movie marathon?

what's better is that they were no longer on a diet so they got to munch on their favorite snacks as the movie plays. the girls worked really hard to make delicious snack bar, they prepared multiple soft drinks, one for each member, deciding they were going o make this night the best night.

sadly, the only thing they weren't able to get their hands on was winter's happiness. winter seemed upset the entire night. at first she was happier than anyone can be. bet, she was even the one who invited you and planned the whole movie night thing.

however, as the night dragged on her happiness and smile did too. she was no longer humming to songs and running around the house with snacks both of her small hand. she was no longer talking to people.

she was sitting on the couch, her head resting on her palm as her gloomy eyes focused on the tv. ningning tried talking to her, aeri tried feeding her snacks and karina even played her favorite movie. yet she shuts them all down and didn't even care about the movie. her thumbs swiping left and right on her phone screen.

you of course were upset, it was nearly 3 hours of winter avoiding you and not talking to you. you had come all the way here to make your girlfriend happy, being her boyfriend, you had missed her a lot during her comeback preparations.

you wanted to cuddle and spend time with her, whispering cute little promises and love yous. but she seemed like she did not want to be disturbed so you decided that it was best to leave her alone.

you turned to karina, deciding to continue your conversation with her about the movie and the plot. winter glanced over at you and karina, scoffing as she look at how the both of you were looking at each other straight in the eyes as you guys conversed. she turned away with a scoff.

karina had been staring at you so intently and you had been staring at her right back, listening to her every word's attentively. you said something that made karina laugh, her hand found its way on your chest, pushing you jokingly.

winter, of course saw it as a flirt. without a second wasted, she quickly stood up, losing her balance slightly before stomping off towards her room. she really needed to get out of there and have some time alone and did not care about the members looking at her.

she went straight to the balcony of her room as the slight breeze met her hair as it blew back. her arms came up to rub themselves, warming herself up.

as soon as you heard the door slamming, you immediately stood up. you gave a glance towards the girls before they nodded eagerly. winter glanced back at you when she heard the door opening and closing.

"get out, i want to be alone" she sighed not even sparing a glance at you. you didn't listen to her words as you wrapped your arms around her waist, pulling her in for a backhug.

"i'm sorry," you mumbled, planting small pecks on her neck, making her let out a deep sigh. 

"don't just come to me saying sorry without even knowing what you did wrong" she mumbled, trying to sound stern but actually she was slowly melting in your touches.

"i know, im sorry i did not pay attention to you" you hugged her as you rest your head on hers. she tried squirming out of your embrace but you held her tighter.

"no, let's stay like this" you whispered. winter's body that was tensed the whole time finally relaxes in your embrace. you smiled a little.

"maybe i over reacted a little" she broke the silence. you laughed before mumbling about how it wasn't just a little.

"should i apologize to you?" she chuckled, turning herself to look at you. she looked at your eyes, and immediately her heart sparked. she smiled softly before kissing your lips.

"sorry" she said as she pulls away. you pinched her cheeks making her squeal as her body squirmed.

"i dont know if this makes me a bitch but seeing you all sulky was kinda, fun" you laughed making her snap and glance at you.

"so funny" winter rolled her eyes, punching your chest lightly. you were about to drag her out of the room but got pulled back. she cupped your cheeks and moved some strands of hair that fell on your forehead,

"only look at me" she said before pulling you in for a kiss. and for the millionth time, your heart stopped beating as your cheeks flushed red.
