being friends with jimin was more confusing and complicated than you have ever thought. she kept giving you mixed signals that made you unsure if you should ask her out or not.

one second she would be playing with your hair while telling you how she would like to play with her partner's hair before falling asleep together or she would cling onto your arm and press her cheeks on your arm and talk about how she like the feeling of being protected by you. but then the next second she would loudly talk about how she wants to stay single and not let anyone ever date her until she's old and wrinkly.

her actions confused you so much, to the point where you want to be bold and ask her if she has feelings for you or not. the worst thing that could happen is that she would reject you and your relationship with her will go downhill.

you're crazy. how could you ever ask thee Yu Jimin out. she's way out of your league and had thousands of people that would make a way better date than you.

"hello? are you even listening?" karina snapped her slender fingers in front of your face as she tried to get your attention, also snapping you out of your daydream.

"totally' you lied obviously. hiding the fact that you were spacing out but karina isn't dumb to believe you just like that. she had always been a person that is fast to pickup on small things. she looked at you suspiciously, making you nervous.

suddenly her face changed and now she's staring at you with her doe eyes as her lips turns into a cute pout, her plump bottom lip jutting out as she momentarily stopped in her tracks. a sight where only you get to see. she has never done this, not once even to her closest friend like aeri or even ningning and minjeong.

"you clearly weren't even listening to me" she pointed out, sighing as she laus her head on your shoulder, latching herself onto your arm as she started to explain what you had missed out earlier.

"i was talking about the park, everyone went there and had picnic with their friends. but only i haven't gone there yet" she said, staring up at you expectantly, hoping that you could get a clue and pick up what she's trying to say. furring your brows your mind went back to the thought you had been having seconds before.

"oh that park near the river at Sujeon Centre? yeji went there last week, she told it was really fun" you pointed out, trying to keep the conversation going.

as soon as you mentioned of yeji's name, karina's grip loosened and she immediately rose up from your shoulder.

"you sure do talk to yeji a lot don't you" karina sighed, rolling her eyes as she looks at you up and down while resting her head on her left hand that was on the table. her tongue poking her inner cheeks, once or twice.

you lifted your glass of coke, sipping some of it as you look back at karina. she bit the bait, now you know for sure what her feelings are towards you. so you decided to have fun a little.

"well you've been so busy and we haven't hung out as much and yeji noticed" you added some spice, seeing how pissed karina is while looking at you right now made you giggle inside. she's so cute.

"cool, talking about me being busy. i forgot i had a plan with aeri in an hour." she said while slowly picking up her stuffs and stuffing it in her bag.

"are you gonna make it to japan in an hour?" you asked. karina stopped for a second, bagffled at the fact that she just got caught lying through her teeth.

"oh whatever. im leaving, thanks for having me" she rolled her eyes. the moment you she stood up, you did too. following her slowly from behind before pulling her in for a backhug.

"don't be mad" you rests you head on hers, karina stopped in track. her hair was soft and silky, you smiled as you take in the scent of her shampoo. your hand hugging her slim waist. though you couldn't see her face, you knew she was flushing red.

"the only reason im hanging out with yeji so much is so i can stop thinking of you. i thought that you don't love me the way i do and i tried to forget my feelings for you so that i don't have to get my heart broken," you confessed. she was still standing still, not even saying anything.

"you confused me a lot. i couldn't figure out how you felt towards me" you closed your eyes, taking a deep breath.

"but seeing how you reacted just nowー" you chuckled before continuing

"it's just so obvious, isn't it?" you broke the hug when you felt her trying to move. finally after what felt like an hour, she turned to look at you with a expressionless face. suddenly, she held your face ever so gently. looking straight into your eyes filled with warmth.

"i'm not letting you go until you say it out loud" she whispered. you smiled, you were not able to contain your feelings anymore.

"oh gosh im smiling too much" you chuckled after failing to say the words she wanted to hear.

"i love it when you smile at me like that" karina smiled.

"i love it when you look at me like i matter the most in the world, or when you reply to my text in a second. you treat me like a princess, always pampering me" she stopped breaking eye contact

"you don't know how fast my heart beats every time you notice how differently i style my hair everyday. i love how you make me feel like im your person" she took a deep breath before looking back at you with the most warmest smile. this is it, the right time to say it.

"karina, no one else is ever gonna have a chance with me. you're it. you're all i want. be mine?"

not even a second after, you feel your fce being pulled closer towards her. the gap between you two disappearing before your lips connecting ever so gently with hers.

you felt your heart bursting, like someone just lit up a firework in your heart. you cherished this very moment, where karina finally became yours.
