notes ; warnings! mentions of death and blood

you and karina had been with together for a while now, and you had grown close to her. so close to the point where the both of you swear you could die going a day without seeing each other. surely does sound stupid, but the memory of karina losing appetite when she had to be seperated from you because of her Japan tour was still clear in your head. dramatic, most people would say, but karina couldn't live a day without you.

truthfully, karina loved the way you make her feel. the sound of your voice, the jokes you'd make, the nicknames you'd call her. whenever she has schedule outside of seoul and having to spend the night in a hotel room alone, you would be the first one that she calls, giggling the moment you pick up the call. talking until the moon was no longer visible in the dark sky.

everything about the both of you were perfect. everyone around you envied the relationship you guys had. the way you could read karina's feeling just by looking at her expressions, and the way karina remembers everything about you from a to z. the both of you were perfect for each other, everyone agreed on that.

however, perfect things won't exist in the world for a long time. that's a truth you and everyone else knew. these thoughts swirled around your head as you wait for karina to walk through the front door, reminiscing about your past in the meantime.

two weeks passed since the day you and karina stopped talking. you looked around your empty house, not even a single object in the house that you could name. your once comfy house is empty, one penny could drop and create an echo that would go through your whole apartment.

tears filled the brim of your eyes, blurring your vision. you were so stupid to think that you and karina had something. or maybe the both of you actually did, and karina got bored of you. honestly you couldn't tell which one of the two is the right answer.

you could still hear the beating of you heart in your ears, the same pace as the night when you caught karina crashing her lips against a guy who you couldn't identify who it was due to the darkness of the balcony of her hotel room. the sound of the wine glass scattering around as it makes contact with the marble floor echoes in your head.

and despite all the noise made by your dissapointed self, karina couldn't care less about your presence. you took a couple of steps away from the two of them. stepping onto some broken pieces of wine glass which resulted to blood gushing out from your foot. it didn't hurt you, because what hurt you more was the way she kept her eye contact with you while shoving her tongue down the guy's mouth.

you never felt so disgusted. the dark brown orbs that you used to stare into with so much love engulfing your whole body, became the same eye that made you want to throw up.

if it wasn't for your eyes stinging, you wouldn't acknowledge how fucked up the whole scene in front of you was. you blinked a couple of times, before leaving the house. your lips trembled in fear, confusion, disgust, evrery negative feelings and emotions came to you all at once.

the moment you reached the lobby, you bumped into giselle who was walking towards the elevator. if it wasnt for her quick reflex, you body would've slammed down the cold marble floor of the hotel lobby. and if it wasn't for giselle offering you her shoulder to lean on that night, you might've done something no one wished you did.

"y/n?" the voice made you jump, snapping you out of your own space. you were met with eyes full of fear coming from your half japanese friend. your eyebrows furrowed, hating the way her tone sounded like, plus the way she was looking at you.

"go away, aeri" you mumbled, your body shivered as you felt a sudden wave of coldness. when did the room get so cold? you hugged your own body, in hopes of warming yourself a little.

"oh my god, y/n.." the japanese girls spoke. you let out a hiss, annoyed at how she's treating you. it's not like it's her first time seeing you in a state of heartbreak. "aeri stop it," you hissed.

"y/n, please tell me you're—" and before you could cut her words off midway with the rage that was building up in you, the japanese girl that was once standing in front of you ran straight through your body. the next thing you know was she wasn't in front of you anymore.

"what?" you furrowed, your head starts pounding so fast it's scaring you. but what scared you better was when you turn around to see your weak, cold and pale body lying on the floor with pills in your hand.

you watch in as giselle held your lifeless body in both of her arms, screaming out your name loud enough which urged your neighbors into checking out what's happening. you stood behind the crying girl, so confused but so relieved at the same time. there were no emotions that you could feel mentally and it had been the thing you wanted to feel the most. the feeling of, nothing.

you smiled, walking away from the chaos. away from your body, away from the world where you and karina once existed in.
