Since Mimi started bonding with Morgan she seemed to be managing a lot better she wasn't held up in her room all hours of the day we went with Peppa to pick Morgan up from school. She hung around with Peter a little, they seemed to get on.
Right now she was in the lab with me. She was figuring out how to use Friday right now, her eyes were big as she worked out how it all worked. "You could modify this." She says as she moved to the computer. "Excuse me?" I asked with my eyebrows raised, was she really trying to improve my work? "I'm just saying it could be more efficient if you-" She cut herself off. I smiled. "Can I go training with Steve in the morning? Bruce cleared me a week and a half ago." She says hopeful moving on from Friday and typing on the computer. God knows what she was up to on there. "No." "But dad." "You're not doing it." "It's a run and a boxing session, it's not like I'm jumping from rooftops and swinging around time square." "Peter was on a mission." "Why can't I go on missions." "Because you're my daughter." "Peter lives here and you're his guardian." "Amelia," I warned her in a loving way. "But dad." "No Amelia. Not happening." "So you get to go to space almost die and I can't do a simple training session with one of your friends and co-workers? How's that fair?" "Doesn't have to be fair, I'm your father," I tell her smugly.
"Your coding for the new suits is wrong. And your security system can be hacked into with a level 4 code breaker which is really weak considering the level of-"Out." I pointed to the door. "Can I go train with Steve in the morning?" "Yes. But you get hurt and you're not doing it ever again." "Little dramatic," she says as she left.

I watched her on the track, it was freezing out, I had my coat on and scarf and she was running in shorts and a jumper.
She had her headphones on and she looked so determined with each stride she took. Cap was a little in front of her and Sam was running at a similar speed to my daughter. "Morgan wanted her daddy," Peppa said appearing beside me holding our daughter on her hip. "Is Mimi out there?" Morgan asked looking out at the track.
"Yeah, she is." "Can I run?" "Nope." "But Why?" "Because running is for crazy people," I tell her. "No your father is just lazy." "So can I run?" "No," Peppa tells her with a soft smile. "Why?" She asked again. "Because you need to stay wrapped up it's freezing out here.
"No fair!" I hear Sam call, I looked back and saw Mimi overtake him, her steps had more power like she was running from something she ran at full speed catching up to Steve who she slid past and continued to run around the circle. I looked at Peppa and she seemed concerned. "What?" "Nothing." She forces a smile handing me Morgan. "When she's cleaned up can you tell her to meet me in the laundry room?" "She's not going to be as accpecting to chore day as Peter was." "Peter isn't accepting of chore day." "Exactly my point."

PEPPA'S POV
"Dad said you wanted me down here?" Amelia came into the laundry room with damp hair and sweats and a tank top. "Yeah, it's chore day?" "What?" "We all do chores today... I wrote you a list." I hand it to her. She hesitantly took it. "Don't we have like cleaners?" "Yes but it's important you kids learn how to keep a house." She scanned over the list. "Okay." She shrugged and walked over to the pile of washing and began separating it by colour. I was surprised I expected more resistants like Tony anticipated.
