NATASHA'S POV

I woke up in my room alone, that was normal, Amelia goes on a run every morning with Steve and Sam but I was kind of hoping she'd still be here. I was shocked from last night when she comforted me. She used to mop up Yelena's tears when she was scared so I knew she had compassion I just thought it had run out for me.

Seeing Yelena, seeing the hurt in her eyes when she looked at me it killed me, I felt my heart shattering. I lied to myself for so long, Amelia shouldn't be running around risking her own freedom to protect my sister it should be my job. If she was caught helping Yelena out Fury would snap her up and lock her away for good. I should be working out ways to get her out of state. I should be using my contacts to get her places to stay and identification, not Amelia she had her own sister to worry about. But Yelena wouldn't want my help anymore I betrayed her trust she had in me.

I pulled myself out of bed and then made it, I made Ameilia's bed too it was cold so she either didn't sleep in it or got up really early this morning to train. I showered and changed before making my way downstairs no one was in here. That was odd. I grabbed a breakfast muffin Wanda made yesterday and then walked to the training room. Everyone was in here.

"What's going on?" I asked Wanda as I stood beside her. "Mimi is having her assessment." She whispered before looking back to the girl who was fighting. So this is what she's been training for she wants to be part of the team for real. Impressive. I would have thought she'd want out like Yelena. Then again she wouldn't leave Morgan. She was just as protective over Morgan and Tony and Peppa.

"She's ran 5 miles in 25 minutes." She informed me. That's 5 minutes a mile. "At 5 this morning." "She's also been fighting this thing for 20 minutes straight. After the psych eval." It was a mock version of the taskmaster it was mimicking her moves perfectly. She stood up straight and clicked her neck after being hit hard "Is she going to give up?" Peter asked leaning forward. "No, just wait," I say anticipating her next move. She did the crotch throat grab getting the machine to the floor and then rolled off landing gracefully before standing up placing her hands on her hips and taking some deep breaths.

"Incoming!" Peter called tossing her a water she caught it before climbing out of the ring. "Impressive... Reminds me of someone else we know." Fury says looking over at me. "Of course we already have a widow on the team though." She looked at her dad. "But she has a different skill set." "No she has a combine skill set of Wanda and Agent Romanoff. We have no need for her on the team. Maybe as an Agent elsewhere but as far as her position on the avengers goes. I'm sorry Amelia."

"I have different skills." She says before he could walk away from her. "You can run and hack. so can half the people on the team." "I can also control time and reality." She says. "You haven't told me that." "It just started." She defends herself to her father who was shocked at the new information. "My office." He told her firmly, Tony and Fury following behind her. She sighed and looked at Wanda she was sad, scared maybe.

--------

Three hours went by. "I can't hear anything," Peter complained coming to sit back with the rest of us. "That's because they're in the office." "That I warned you to stay away from." Peppa scolded him. "They won't send her away right?" "Tony won't let that happen." "Or he'll leave us for her." "We're his family." "You're his family kid. We're just people he works with." "That's not true." Peppa defend her husband.

"Tony will take The kid you and Amelia and Morgan and he'll forget about the rest of us," Steve says. "He wouldn't forget about you guys." "But you're not denying he'd leave." "He lost his daughter for 12 years he just got her back."

"NO!" Amelia shouted and then the door to the office swung open and she stomped down the hall into the kitchen where we were she grabbed a knife. "I'm not going away." "Amelia," Peppa said concerned immediately. "I'm not going back." She told her firmly. What was she doing with the knife was my concern. Don't let him take me back. She pushed through to my mind. I stand in front of her blocking her view of Fury and her dad. "Look at me," I demand. "What are you doing?" "I'm not talking you." She told me. "Okay, talk to me." Wanda tried, she cupped her face in her hands. "Talk to me."
