Y/N swore that she would never be involved with Sapnap. He had broken her heart and she wasn't about to let it happen again.
Sapnap had promised himself that he was done with her for good...that was until they met in battle.

"Seriously? How am I going to hunt in this?" I asked, quite disgusted at the outfit. It was tight everywhere. Made from inelastic fibres as well. George shrugged.
"It's the outfit they gave me. Although..." He pulled and twisted the fabric. Then smiled the smile of someone scheming. "Tell me Y/N, how much do you trust me?"
"Not at all." I didn't even play in my response. I didn't trust any of them. Not anymore. He rolled his eyes.
"Okay, how much do you trust my skills with some thread?" I remembered how he used to sew up any of our clothes which had tears, better than any maid in the castle. "Fairly well."
His chocolate eyes lit up. Finally I put it on and showed him his altered work.

"It looks perfect for you. The top may be a bit tight but it's the best I could do." He said clearly still proud of it.
I looked in the mirror. "A Scythe is more my thing..." I said fiddling with the arrows. He dismissed my comment. "You'll have to use arrows for the quest."
"What will I have to do?" I asked cracking my knuckles. He fell back on my bed. "Probably kill a mythical beast."
My eyebrows furrowed. He continued. "I killed a manticore, who lead a small team of hoglins. Dream killed an elder dragon surrounded by phantoms. And Sapnap killed-" "The gold crested lion."
I remember now. He always promised that he would kill it and become 'the king of Gold and Fire.'
George nodded. "That one had an army of blazes. Nasty blighters. So I'm assuming you'll have to defeat a dangerous mythical creature. But the extra challenge is that the win is up for grabs. All knights are allowed to try and kill it before you."
He got up and adjusted his glasses. "Fail? You'll probably be killed. No pressure."
I shivered at his casual tone to my death. Was there a time where my death would have affected them?
Just as George left the room another figure stood outside. I grabbed my stuff and tied my hair up. Hazel eyes met mine. His gaze went down my body, drinking me up like I might disappear any moment. His gaze seemed to touch me without contact. My body flushed.
Stop this. You're being a child again. A naive, stupid child. I cleared my throat and tauntingly flicked his nose. "Keep looking at me like that. See what happens." I said with the most venom I could conjure. He smirked down at me. "I might just." He responded full of arrogance. Egotistical bastard.
I waved past him, making sure to sway my hips ever so slightly. "Doesn't matter. I'm about to beat the entire Dream Team in a hunt." "Oh yeah?" His head tilted at the challenge. "Ohhh yeahhh."
